I can get it for like 34 bucks on GMG, which is good for Australia.

If I'm being brutally honest that GB quicklook is not selling the gameplay to me, at all.

Huh, 2K must have removed the Australia tax after putting it on a week or two ago.

I'm also not sold on it atm. I honestly don't see the tactical depth the game supposedly has, it just looks like Mass Effect to me.

Do your squadmates actually shoot to kill (like in brothers in arms for example) or are they useless at shooting and just good for ability spam like Mass Effect?

EDIT: just saw the Mass Effect comparisons on the first page, yeah I'm gonna wait for reviews/community impressions.

They are actually insanely deadly depending on how you use them though abilities do increase their chances of instant kills and such.

Yeah, I ended up grabbing Arkam Origins + The Bureau + Spec Ops + XCOM Collection for $70. <3 GMG, haven't paid full retail for a (non handheld) game in over a year now lol.

I have been awaiting this game since the "re-reveal" last year. I already had the game paid off months ago at my local shop and I just cant wait. But Im wondering wheres the OT for this game. I thought there would be more people looking forward to it.

A more appropriate comparison after watching the video would be something like Frozen synapse, with some FPS level of control during the action.

Took the bait on Steam after seeing all the pre-purchase bonuses and seeing that Enemy Unknown was included, ..... should have checked this thread first ... ... well ...happens !
