The last trailer I saw was actually good. Had a bit more story to it with him losing the beard and all.

I might see it in theaters, depending on the reception.

So hype, Borat and Bruno are the best comedies of this generation. This guy is great for one reason he "goes" there

Every trailer/commercial/clip I've seen for this has been painful. Not the funny kind of painful either.

Wow at 72% on RT though.

I still love the shit he pulled with the ashes at the Oscars and thought the MTV thing with his ass on Emenem (staged or not) was funny.

Yeah the guy knows how to market/sell his movies better than anybody else at the moment. Seeing this tonight at 9.

Is it? 911 jokes with terrible Arabic+Chinese accents.
I think a lot of people are going to walk out.

the american people have notoriously short memories...

today's teens were in k-3rd grade when that happend, if that. I doubt it would have any effect at all brah. Plus, the arab/north african accents are actually decent.

I haven't been to the theater in several months, but I love SBC so I'm definitely down for this. Can't wait.

Sacha Baron Cohan works best live, riffing off peoples reactions. The interviews for this were funny but the film looks like ass

I'm in this movie in some of the scenes as the background guys so I will go see it but yeah doesn't look that good.

Hated Bruno. Borat was funny.

Saw a pre screening of this last week, it was pretty bad. There were some jokes and gags that played well but most of them fall flat and are just trying too hard to be offensive.

This only got a few laughs out of me. The biggest laughs were achieved by a bit a physical humor.
When Aladeen discovers masturbation for the first time.
The random clips spliced throughout that scene sealed the deal. It was beautiful.

Skeptical about this, the scripted bits in Bruno and Borat were pretty awful and Ali G In Da House was an abomination.

I love Baron Cohen but in his promotional interviews he reuses a lot of jokes from Bruno and Borat especially, because they both are anti-semites.

I knew this was going to happen after Borat, no way he could repeat that success, still I love the guy, I have never seen an audience laugh so much in a theater as with Borat, some people were having difficulty breathing. The most fun I have ever had in a movie theater.

pretty disappointed by the movie. i love sbc but the movie was honestly kind of lame. there were a couple laughs but overall just predictable and boring. i liked bruno quite a bit better and i didn't think bruno was great or anything.
