People had fun with the drama around Outlaws and Veilguard. Now people demand more fun and the youtubers want to keep farming hate content. Thing is, there is no drama right now, so they had to fabricate it.

I'm 20+ hours into the game and still have to see something remotely woke. The villagers are dumb, the hookers have massive tits, the gypsy boss if a fucking rat and I've already saved a few damsels in distress.

If all there is to this is a same-sex romance option and one black dude complaining about the food then whew, lmao.

Same, mostly. My only hints of wokeness are not a single church yet anywhere (apparently the ones there have no interiors but the synagogue that wasn't there in real life is fully functional.)... Everyone curses like a sailor. Too many f bombs, it pulls me out of the simulation.

The first game was way more believable. Although there is a ton wokies would hate like big boobed ladies, everywhere.

I am enjoying it a ton. Seems way harder than the first game though.

A lot of you havent learned a single thing from the last 10years which culminated in Veilguard and Dustborn, you deserve to be invaded by such games. That fucking Vavra dude tried to gaslight us that Henry is you and your choices, when in the first game it was very much a defined character who was only heterosexual. Then he puts a fucking black dude that tells us his kingdom respects women and we are barbarians and we also need to kill antisemites (christians) cause Vavra is of jewish ancestry.

You deserve only games like Veilguard because you tolerate it and havent learned a thing. You still havent understood that the moment you give these people an inch, they want everything, main story full representation in your face, no attractive female characters etc.

Thankfully this wont affect me much as I've already, for the most part, retreated to the old great games, especially the ps360 era. But I really do hope fence sitters get invaded by woke atrocities because thats what you deserve for not learning anything and being weak to make a stand.

Anytime a pendulum swings after people have had opinions repressed, or lose trust in institutions, you'll get a dumb response at some point.

I do think over time it will even out, devs will figure out what players tend to like/dislike more, and the ones that don't will be laid off or go under. Even if games still end up with some elements people don't like for whatever personal reason, as long as the quality is there enough, people will overlook it.

It isn't optional when, like in Dragon Age, they deliberately made the DEI character a mandatory part of the party with no ability to remove him, and to make sure all his dialogues are mandatory whether you even interact with him ever in the game whatsoever.

While in bg3, the path to Ursine sex exists, but it is truly optional and you need to get out of your way to make it possible.

Optional things are optional. Mandatory things are NOT optional. And DEI is rarely ever optional because they are forcing stuff down our throats.

It is hard to ignore when game franchises that people used to enjoy become completely different a decade later. People have a reason to get mad at losing what they used to love.

i am still mad that Command and Conquer was destroyed as a franchise due to chasing GaaS, and the fact that i am playing other things now doesn't make it any better.
