Indeed. I'm a massive Playstation fan and this recent news is a major kick to the balls. MAG sounds cool as hell but it'll have to be "SUPER FUCKING EPIC OMG TEH AMAZING" to make up for the betrayalton. Please don't let me down Sony.

Sony will hand out beach blankets to soak up the tears. You knew it was coming (delays and lack of news does that), but you keep hoping it won't. It's all first-party from here on out. That's fine by me, but they're gonna have a hard time convincing a lot of people to make the wait. PEACE.

SE has always followed the superior technology, that's why they went Sony leaving Nintendo behind when the Playstation came out. CD-ROM against cartridges was just too much of a difference. Now both platforms have similar performance and on 360 they'll probably just make a multidisk release, it's not much of a hassle. If Sony had come through with the super-performing machine they announced in '05...

Agreed. I'm surprised any of the Xbots can say that was a good conference, save for the FFXIII announcement.

I know that's a big blow to Sony, but I've never liked FF so it doesn't really affect me. Though I agree with some of you in saying that Squeenix will reveal something big tomorrow for Sony. FF7 most likely.

And does anyone know if Sony still owns part of square?

With the exception of the beginning and the announcement at the end, the MS conference was stupid. However, most people at the end when comparing the conferences are not going to care about that and will pretty much focus on XIII going to 360. I'd say that Sony needs a big announcement to off-set that. And will probably be overshadowed otherwise.

Sony has to know that they didn't have FFXIII locked down by contract, so they had to know this was coming.

Still looking forward to Sony's conference tomorrow, but I'd feel much happier if we weren't still waiting to get a bunch of stuff they showed off last year.
