I love my PS3, but Sony lost a lot of respect since they didn't secure FF13 as an exclusive.

There better be a JPRG of some kind announced in E3 that is a PS3 exclusive, or I will be pretty irritated.

Not only that man, but there are ZERO RPGS here in a America, that are worth looking into. Sure, there's folklore, but that's not really a huge RPG. Something has to happen, or those Xbox's are going to sell even more, especially in Japan now.

Yes they do need the fucking Jrpgs dammit they are hella lacking in that. But Digea 3 and Valkirya Chronicles should help this fall. They need to announce more dammit.

Except that FF13 is still PS3 only in Japan.

I read that FF13 on 360 will only come out on US and EU not Japan

FF is exclusive for PS3 in japan. SE said there is no version of FF for 360 in JAPAN


EDIT: btw the exclusive PS3 content for bioshock was a minigame. Balh... and DLC, didnt mention anything about that. All hype of extra content and nothing.

FF13 is PS3 exclusive in Japan, so it wont affect the XBOX 360's status over there.

With that said a better way to say it is that there are ZERO traditional RPG's. The PS3 has strategy RPG's like Valkyria Chronicles that looks to revolutionize the subgenre. There are other games like Disgaea 3 and Tears to Tiara (which will never get a USA release).

Unfortunately, if we look at the traditional RPG, the only offering if Enchanted Arms, and Sony just lost FF13. White Knight Chronicles is good, but it is not enough. Especially when the 360 will be getting Infinite Undiscovery, Tales of Vesperia, and Star Ocean 4.

Do you honestly expect a Final Fantasy VII remake to be released exclusively for the PlayStation 3? Consider all of the Square Enix support for the Xbox 360 (and how much of it is exclusive) and think again. Sony and Square Enix's relationship has clearly been damaged by happenings in the past, and it doesn't help that the PlayStation 3 hasn't exactly been running away with things.

If a Final Fantasy VII remake is ever released, it would make absolutely no sense to limit it to one console.

Japan has nothing to do with this since FF13 is still exclusive to the PS3 in Japan.

At they very least they could be a timed exclusive.

6-12 months before it gets released on the 360.

Yeah, the damage has been done.

There is nothing they can do except try to secure future Japanese exclusives, and we all know that they did a bang up job so far.

Skies would be great, but it is not a Final Fantasy.

Not to mention that Valkyria Chronicles sold like shit, so I bet they are not too privy about going exclusive for the next big Sega RPG.
 
Quite frankly I expect Sony's presentation tommorow to be overall a good experience. Probably consistantly better than MS's show, although I doubt they have a megaton announcement that will be as good.

I think the 3-d part of Home will be underwhelming but the social aspects of it will be cool, and the rest of what they show (games and PSN changes/new features) to be pretty damn good.
