I hear two things from Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo. Innovation and projected sales numbers. They all have to respond to each other to keep momentum, which has led to complex pros and cons. So, in the present time the product produced is a mixture of family, film, music, and gaming content. ... er...Innovation.
But what's the cost?
IMO, Games.
This gen: The 360 has 16 games rated at least 9.0, the ps3 has 10, and the wii has 8.
Last gen: Ps2 had 61 games rated at least 9.0, Xbox had 40. and GameCube had 19.
[let a margin of error slide]
So, here we are, the industry is changed. Time to see who can pump out the most rated 10 games. That's who the winner will be IMO. Fuck novelty in any of the consoles.
So far I haven't decided to buy a ps3, wii, or 360 yet..
