Also, level 58? Holy hell. I've been playing since November 8 and I'm only level 42.

Beth, for the love of god, when you release a patch, please add in two things:
- Have your containers in your houses be subdivided like your inventory. WEAPONS - APPAREL - POTIONS - ETC.
- Have those containers actually store shit alphabetically.

Agreed, finding anything is a disaster. I actually started sorting items myself in separate containers. One endtable for jewels, a wardrobe for clothing, a chest for armor, a barrel for ingredients, etc. But even that doesn't fix the alphabetizing.
I use separate containers for each.
Chest in bedroom - weapons and big items like dragon scales/bones
End table by bed - basic clothes
2nd end table - jewelery
Bookshelf - books!
I keep all my potions on me, but sell any I don't use, which is pretty much everything except health potions and dmg health poisons (and a few others, like 2h fortify).
Yeees. Library house addition while you're at it.

I don't get what the deal is with horses antagonizing the dragons! Twice now I've had horses I didn't even own come at the dragons and directly distract them while we were fighting.
Also, can somebody explain to me how it worked out that the Giants aren't the rulers of Skyrim? They're kind of the top dog of the food chain but they still don't rule all?
After playing around with my Wood Elf thief, I decided to go back to playing my Nord warrior. After playing for a few moments, I check my save slots.... and noticed my Wood Elf saves were all wiped out because they were all on Auto save, and they were all written over by my Nord!

They don't give a shit about anything but their mammoths.
I have a full set of legendary Daedric armor and I still switched back to legendary Ebony with Spell Breaker and an Ancient Nord Helmet because I like the look better. :lol
Start doing more quests. I got some nice hauls from them and cash rewards.

Holy shit, this game is destroying my life... Everyday this week at work all I'm thinking about is what I'm gonna do next. I thought I'd cleared shit loads of dungeons and stuff, looked at my stats and I'm thoroughly disappointed at how pathetic they look. 23 dungeons cleared, is that all?

I was supposed to escort some guy to his wife, it wasn't very far but I chose to fast travel. Now the guy is lost, I've been back and forth between the two places numerous times and I can't find him...any ideas on what to do? It'll kill me to have an incomplete quest.
Become friends with the thieves guild and steal like crazy. The money will make itself.
Yeah I just did a quest today where everyone had full glass armor on. Came away with like 20k after upgrading/selling it all
Do a bunch of Misc. Quests that involve dungeon runs. If you search everything in the dungeon you can easily finish the quest with about 2000 gold, including selling all the loot you find.

I've often wondered the same thing - they're obviously not stupid if they're capable of making and using tools and maintaining a limited agriculture. My guess is, as you suggest, they either don't have the ambition for it and are content with their mammoths, or they lack the numbers or the intelligence to do anything. Perhaps Giant child birth is especially traumatic, leading to a very small, secretive population. Just a theory.

- Regarding Persuasion and Intimidation - do they operate on a chance of success based on your speech skill, or do they have set skill thresholds that can never be overcome with an insufficient speech skill?

lol, this happened to my character yesterday. I had 2 arrows stuck in me. One in the left side, the other out of my left arm. Wouldn't go away for like an hour. I even tried saving/re-loading. Sleeping, fast-travel, changing armor. Nothing worked.
Eventually it just went away. Was getting worried it was going to stick forever.

Just get shot by another arrow when this happens. Your persistent arrows will disappear.
I never got that option but it's probably since when given the option of who to talk to I decided to talk to Parthurnax instead of going to back to the temple with Delphine and Esburn. However if given the option I would have said 'fuck the blades!' since Parthurnax is a seriously awesome Dragon.

I've found three different shouts, but I need some dragon souls to use them.

You have to go into the main quest until the first dragon attack in it.

You have to advance to a certain point in the main story before they show up all the time. Just do some stuff for the jarl in Whiterun, it'll only be like 3 missions or so before you get your dragon wings.

How does one make Blacksmith's Ring? I've looked everywhere on how to make it and I am lost.
You need to disenchant an item with fortify smithing bonus. You can find it randomly in chests or buy it from a vendor (which also has random gear)

i went around asking about it and guards got pissed. then they ambushed me
but i killed them all with my sneak skills. so the forewsworn conspiracy quest
has been completed, but i didnt end up in the mine.
i went into the mine on my own but no key opens the main door, the guards
don't have it either. also committing a crime and going to jail just puts me
in a cell with an unpickable lock.
can i still get in there or is the quest over

Good luck with that. I was never able to kill them early in the game. I'd always try my best to avoid them.

guard approached me and said he was going to frame me for some murders or something. I chose not to fight and was thrown in there
Iron dagger trick LOL. I didn't think to enchant them but did realize making a bunch of them was a cheap way to level up and improve smithing. That's a good one. Anyone know if diedric armor is really stronger than dragon bone?
Another thing you can do is get iron ore, transmute it to gold ore, make rings, enchant the rings, then sell the rings individually to boost alteration, smithing, enchantment, and speech
There's a specific quest you need.

Reinstalling worked for me on the Ps3, game is having no troubles with stuttering now with a 6.5MD save.
Got a lot of different stuff during the downtime, finally got past the mages going to the College of Winterhold with the BEAST Marcurio (who steals too many kills), finally learned blocking wards, made some progress with the Companions.
Did the first Thieves Guild missions, that was intense but I loved it, I don't understand how I was supposed to get past the guy staring directly at the stairwell I had to go down though.
Q: Does anyone know a buyer that has a lot of cash? I'm talking at least 3000, everyone I run into is too poor.

I looked it up in the wiki and I honestly don't think I've ever come across and enchanter station.
After you finish Thieves guild quests they go up to like 2k. You can invest in shops if you do the speech perk tree but I don't think it is worth it. My fences are at 4k now; I'm assuming it levels up with you or something

Finished that quest yesterday. If you're in a regular cell, something's definitely wrong.
Someone is supposed to come and let you out.
