Hey everybody,
How about we all agree to collectively forget that awful CGI.
Thanks.
Seriously? I thought it was pretty impressive. Not big budget amazing, but damn good for a show on the CW.

Remember how exciting the fights and effects were on Smallville?Seriously? I thought it was pretty impressive. Not big budget amazing, but damn good for a show on the CW.

Maybe it's just me reading into things, but is Caitlin into Barry?

Probably not, but eh.
Goes to read fanfiction

meh, I don't give a shit, that scene had me hyped
CW has done remarkably well on their budgetHey everybody,

The train sequence in the Captain Cold episode was shockingly impressive
This was exactly how I was feeling when I first watched it. The Flash is essentially a bad TV show, actiing is bad, the writing is even worse... But you just take it as what it is and it's kinda fun. I am enjoying it, but begrudgingly hahaEveryone's supposed to be really smart, but it's so painfully obvious that they're actors pretending to be smart. Everything's really corny, and when someone dies because Flash is 'too slow to save him', it's somehow the fault of the Hispanic guy? Typical. The only genuinely good scene was the train scene, and even it had a really cheesy and stupid build-up. What am I missing that's so good about this show?
as was the fight with The Mist
need to find a gif of him zipping away from the creeping green fog
Infinite Mass Punch, eventually I hope.In six episodes we've gone from a 300mph ceiling to 830mph, running up walls and on water. Can't wait to see where he's at later this season.
Infinite Mass Punch, eventually I hope.
Also the way Wells said "a real Man of Steel" just makes me hope for an eventual Superman Arrowverse show, but that's about as likely as their being a Batman one. For some stupid reason DC seems to want to split up its TV productions. Gotham is its own thing, the new Supergirl show will be it's own thing. It's kind of annoying.
Well, Wells pretty much showed he's the reverse flash by going to detective Allan'shouse and stealing the case file. It's not like Allan was talking about it with anyone else.
It still seems way too in your face obvious. i feel like it isn't one or the either but we are being led on by both ends. There will be something to give comic fans a bit of a surprise and fans of the show as well.Well, Wells pretty much showed he's the reverse flash by going to detective Allan'shouse and stealing the case file. Shared universes are fun in moderation and absolutely joy killing taken the the extent in comics.
Enjoying this show so far.
But Cisco has got to be the most annoying character I've seen in a show in a while.
I actually really liked Eddie and Barry bonding over a punching bag. I actually hope they become good friends.
Barry is kinda like a really shitty Wolverine. As cool as his powers are, he gets his ass handed to him a LOT.

It's a very effective use of budget, and considering ratings I don't suspect it will drop much, if at all.
I think there will be a bidding war for streaming rights between netflix and amazon after season 1 too. Lots of popularity among those users with the franchise.
Oh god. Anyone who complains about the poor effects in Flash needs to watch this and realise just bad we've had it in past shows.
Yup, this show is blowing me away in terms of effects. I was really worried before the show started that all we'd be getting by now was a red blur like Smallville, but they keep upping the effects almost every other episode.
I love it and I really hope CW don't revert to type and start slashing the budget....
Much of my criticism of the episode has already been mentioned but can some one explain how the "Man of Steel" located Iris at the safe house?
I thought the last episode was bad. Not really liking the show even tough I want to. They should stop doing monster of the week episode and should star some arc from comics.
And no professor zoom standing up from chair does not count.
On special effect i think they are ok. Tin man looked ok but that sonic speed was disappointing.
It may be so but I am losing intrest in the show. And its not just that it follows exact routine. Find a new meta human flash get his ass beaten. Goes back to star lab for treatment. Some stupid romance and friendship stuff. Goes against badyy again and wins. Professor zoom does something crazy the end.huh??
they're obviously laying the ground work..
Zoom is obviously being built up. As is Grodd. World building before jumping into the big bads is fine.

Arrow had same issue that it had no major arc at starting but episodes were much more Interesting and diverse

Also...there's something strangely...flirtatious(?) about Barry and Eddie
Stephen Amell is an unmatched archer on Arrow, so you probably dont want him taking aim at you. Thats exactly what happened to Warner Bros. though, as the studio found itself in the actors sights for the way they announced the DC movie slate. Amell told AMC Movie News that he didnt think the announcement was fair to the TV show version of The Flash, which is pulling in spectacular ratings but got left behind by the hype machine in the furor for the big-screen version of the character, played by Ezra Miller.
I thought that it was shitty that all of this stuff got announced the morning of the spectacular ratings of the second episode of The Flash came in, Amell said. He added that Warner Bros. could have handled the announcement better, saying that there was no room for Grant Gustin to establish himself before Warner Bros. tried to get fans excited about Miller.
He did reiterate his belief that theres no need for the television side and the feature side to crossover and said that he likes Millers casting, noting, Im sure that Ezra Miller will do great as the Flash.
He continued on, saying, Im protective of Grant [Gustin]. And thats because I think that producing 23 episodes of superhero television is more difficult than producing a feature film. And its 23 episodes again, and again, and again
