Newey didn't design the F2007.
people think he didn't drive his best at 2007
Newey didn't design the F2007.
Pretty much my thoughts.Vettel and Hamilton would clash. As would Alonso and Hamilton.
He's better off at McLaren.
How would everyone feel about a move to Red Bull? Not that it'll happen.
I'm undecided on what I'd think of such a thing.
He was no way near as impressive in his Ferrari years as he was in his McLaren years, even in 2007.Newey didn't design the F2007.

Lauda is an idiot. He's flipflopped on his boring and generic opinions a few times and just seems to say the first throwaway comment that comes to mind.Doesnt Kimi drive better when in worse cars?
In the end, it's the result that matters. Kimi will go down as one of the many one-time-WDCs and that's how people will remember him.
"Kimi Raikkonen, 2007 WDC (with Ferrari)".
I don't think he's really relevant anymore, even now, when he got a seat again.
True, but the original point was that Kimi only drove well in Newey designed cars.
No one is trying to say that he didnt deserve the championship that year

I'm not saying he needs to shut up, because its likely that he's just being asked questions and has to respond with something, but it'd be nice if he thought about what he said a bit more.
http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/97091Austin's new Formula 1 track layout is set to be completed in the middle of August, AUTOSPORT can reveal, with construction efforts now fully back on course at the United States venue.
Although there was uncertainty about the future of the race last year amid a dispute over the contract - with work at the circuit being halted for several weeks - a big push by Austin's organisers ensured it remained on the final 2012 calendar issued by the FIA's World Motor Sport Council in early December.
On the back of construction work having been resumed several weeks ago, race chiefs have confirmed that the recent delays will not have any negative effect on the event taking place. The current schedule is for the 3.4-mile track layout to be ready by the middle of August, with the rest of the infrastructure being completed well before the November 18 race date.

Austin supposedly will be finished well before the race

I dont see how that changes what I said. :/The journalist is the one that decided that comment was important enough for you to hear, not Lauda.
I hope so! Give the track some time to age and clean up a bit so we don't have another Dusty Delhi on our hands.

http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/97106Red Bull Racing insists that there is no rush for it to copy the reactive ride system pioneered by Lotus - even though some rival outfits are pushing on with developing their own concepts.
Lotus raised some eyebrows in the Abu Dhabi young driver test last year when it ran a system that maintains its ride height under braking - which aids aerodynamic performance and stability into corners.

"It's like all of these things, it's about how they work and how they are integrated in the car," Horner said in an exclusive interview with AUTOSPORT.
"Things have to work as a package rather than as individual components. It appears to be an interesting concept but I'm the wrong person to be commenting on it."

RBR currently without reactive ride adjustment

Just trying to help you make up your mind about who was to blame as you were, some would say ironically, flip-flopping yourself.
Lauda said it, not the journalist. You cant blame a journalist for reporting on what somebody says, which is their JOB. What the fuck....
And how is that even flip-flopping? Did I ever say somebody was to blame and then changed my mind? Do you know what flip-flopping means?
I'm going to go bang my head on a wall.

I really doubt it will be ready
All he needs to know is that the majority of them are leeches. You clearly have no understanding of how journalism works.
So you're saying that its the reporter's fault that Lauda said something stupid? I dont care where the comment was published or who published it or who decided to publish it. Doesn't matter at all, cuz its the person who said it thats to be blamed, unless it was taken out of context, which it wasn't.You clearly have no understanding of how journalism works.
Damn, people really like to get semantic around Seanspeed.
He's making it too easy.
Whats easy? A guy said something really stupid. It wasn't even an argument about semantics. It was just plain dumb shit to say. He's making it too easy.
No matter what team, if you're reasonable in your criticism of them, including Ferrari, I wont have a problem with it. Some people take it way too far, though and its annoying.
I do appreciate you encouraging people to troll me, though. Very nice.
I'm doing it for your own good, son.
Lauda is a f1 pundit for german TV, he is supposed to say edgy stuff like EJ
No need to start with the condescending 'son' additions. Dont be rude. And nothing you do is going to affect my well-being.
And again, nobody interested in the breaking news? Are we here to talk about F1 or just pick on me?
Dont act condescending to me and then tell me to lighten up. Just dont be rude in the first place.Jesus Christ, could you lighten up for a second? Even Lauda can do that. It seems you're taking forum discussions a bit too personal, imo.
And no, I don't appreciate when everybody shits on you, just because you're a bit more enthusiastic than them. The whole discussion about "your team" was ridiculous. Just try to ignore it and we wouldn't even talk about it right now. That's what I meant, when I said you'd make it too easy.
And if you want to talk about breaking news, you should always try to post a part of the article or at least the link.
Dont act condescending to me and then tell me to lighten up. Just dont be rude in the first place.
There's no article or link yet. As I said, there's some 'word going around'. Its something I saw on the Autosport forums. Should be official confirmation later.
I am rude and annoying and an ass and there's nothing you can do about it. Deal with it. Just like I have to deal with your attitude. It's cool, it's just a forum.

Thanks for posting the source.
Its an internet forum, but we're all still people here. I think thats a pretty shitty attitude to take and I certainly wont conform to that mentality at all. Feel free to take your own advice, though.

Tyler we need to form our own engine supply of pulse jets.
Sigh, F1 will never become FZero. There needs to be a balls out, no holds barred prototype racing series where teams compete to build the fastest track cars on the planet.
Good.
