Im starting to think its not true as usually the picture would surface pretty soon after, but the only one people are posting is under blankets.

:(

Edit: ignore that!

It's very hard to make sense of that image... I guess the engine hasn't been mounted.... and where's the cockpit? All I can see is a rear wing and the start of the main intake...

Just ordered tickets for Spa, can't believe they charged €49 for shipping and handling, then another €5 to pay by credit card. Even then with camping included its only marginally more expensive than Silverstone.

Yeah the handling fee charge is ridiculous. The group i'm going with are getting it all in one.

Any idea where you're going to watch the race from? I'm thinking Friday (one of the grandstands) - Saturday/Sunday maybe near the final chicane or at the end of the long straight after Eau Rouge.

No real idea yet. Will probably try and move around as much as I can on the Friday. Same as you on Saturday and Sunday, probably the chicane on Saturday and end of Les Combes on Sunday.

For 2012, Pirelli is upping access for FOM to the race data feeds that engineers have at events – with the hope being that this, which includes information like how old a tyre is, can then be shown on TV.

"They [FOM] have been working to see how they can use the data and put it on the screen," said Hembery. "We have more meetings planned about it. Bernie [Ecclestone] has recognised it, and got his people working on it. Everything is in place to make it happen, but we need to talk to FOM to make sure it happens."
Sounds good.
Green intermediates look hawt.

Not sure I like the idea of tyre info being out there. Isn't half the fun seeing the teams guess what the state of their rivals' tyres are etc?

I mean, it's cool info to have, but yeah.

Looks pretty ugly.

How...ungainly. A sign of things to come?

So, the nose shape has been dubbed the 'platypus' already, huh? On behalf of my country, and our beloved and beautiful monotreme, I demand an end to such a moniker before it catches on. Thank you.

Looks ugly but the new nose height regulations mean all cars will look like that.
Dolphin nose & McLaren side pods with some cut-outs below them.
