Ill just ignore that, and try to remember the fun things about last year.

You missed off the king, with no photoshopping required.

Where did the Webber retirement rumors come from? This is something I've read about since the 2010 season or even earlier than that.

The guy doesnt look like he wants to retire yet, more like the media/fans wants him to retire due to age or forced retire due to not having a seat like Rubens :/

If Redbull keep signing him 1 year at a time rumors will never go away.. And by bringing 2 new drivers in STR it shows that Redbull are really in search for his successor which fuels rumors even more..

They'll never sign Webber.. It's gonna be Massa or some youngster

Massa? Nah, can't see it, he's moving mid-field next season if he has a drive.

Kubica though, if he comes back at all I expect to see him in the Prancing Horse.

I'll be surprised.. As high as I regard Kubica, but he's an unknown commodity now. Ferrari have kept Massa after his injury and look where he is now! Kubica's injury makes Massa's looks like a scratch.

Ferrari are stupid, but not that stupid

It's not a baseless prediction though, Ferrari have already offered him the opportunity to test at Mugello as part of his rehabilitation.

And while Kubica is already in talks with his current employers, Ferrari are understood to be keen to sign the hugely talented driver to replace the underperforming Felipe Massa for the 2013 season.

Ferrari are believed to be ready to offer Kubica the chance to test one of their cars when arduous recuperation is complete to prove he has lost none of the speed and skill which made him one of the most highly rated drivers in Formula One prior to his accident in February.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport reporter Andrea Cremonesi, Kubica will make a return to F1 with Ferrari, testing the 2010 F10 car next spring at Mugello. The write-up also hints that Renault and Kubica will not be renewing his soon to end contract.

In addition, Cremonesi has said that Kubica will most likely drive for Ferrari in 2013, along with Fernando Alonso. Another report from AS newspaper of Spain has also said that Kubica may have reached an agreement with Ferrari for 2013.

Driving the worst we have ever seen him for two seasons, with LDM publicly flaming him every third month?

Alonso has a lot of say in Ferrari. If Alonso wants Kubica as his team mate (the two are close friends, I don't see why not), then Alonso will get Kubica as his team mate.

yeah it would be nice of them to do that. I'm not saying its baseless, but also Ferrari have given Rossi several drives in their cars before

If he has recovered, which is highly unlikely(personal opinion), then it might make sense for them to snatch him before anyone else does

That I agree with. He fired Kimi even before joining the team :)

I was looking at what the Austin circuit is going to look like. eeewww. Why is Tilke allowed to do this?

Austin looks like it could be his best circuit yet.

I think Tilke tracks are getting better. Korea is a half decent track, apart from its horrible location & India seems good enough, although the race itself was a bit dull.

India is an amazing track. In my eyes no one can just say "Tilke LOL" anymore. He designed a great track there.

Really? Rowan Atkinson aside, wasn't that one of the more boring races of last season? I genuinely can't remember. Guess we can't really blame the track, but 'great track' sounds like a bit too much, a bit too soon

It wasn't a great race, but it's a fucking beautiful track to drive in F1 2011.

Are we talking rhythm and fun-factor? I can see that. I mean, it's no Suzuka, but then again, nothing will ever be as amazing as that track in terms of driving it.

It brings a good question. What is considered a good track? One that's fun to watch a race on, or one that's fun to drive on? I guess it's possible to have fun to drive on tracks that are hard to pass on. Hmm.

We've had one race there so I think we should reserve judgement on whether a good race can take place on it. If I had to base it on my F1 2011 experiences, I'd say yes, but that doesn't translate to real life that reliably.

But was that not mostly down to the fact that Red Bull had just wrapped up the constructors championship the race before?

Every race after Korea was a bit boring because of that, even Brazil!

India is like Valencia, great to drive, boring to watch.

China is still Tilke's best track as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah, China is both fantastic to drive and makes for great races. Actually have my highest finishing position there, 2nd, in my rFactor F1 league :>

I think Alonso is a jerk and I would never support him in anything, but I think he's the second-best driver on the grid next to Hamilton.
Really? They both went through relationship troubles (arguably Fernando even moreso with the end of a five-year marriage) yet I don't think you'll find anyone arguing against the Spaniard driving far better than Hamilton, despite having an inferior car.

Webber retirement rumours I think will always follow him, but I can actually see him having a Barrichello-length racing career if not at RBR, then somewhere else definitely.

I think Webber will retire before Rubens still.

Healing all of those blind people and feeding the starving with bread and wine is a full-time job in itself. It's admirable he still does the F1 on the side.

Well we just had a fun race at India yesterday, even though I hate the track...but it was wet. With the dust last year, hopefully it will fair better this time around in 2012.

Yeah, but we are infinitely more entertaining anyway.

Shit. I was thinking of the Russian circuit. Getting my tracks mixed up.

I wasn't a massive fan of the sport at the time but I do remember Prost being my favourite driver at one stage. I certainly don't recall Prost being as much of a sheer cunt as he was portrayed in that doco.

The fact that Hamilton finished 30 points behind Alonso despite the mclaren being far superior to the Ferrari is pretty damning on Hamilton's part.

Webber only finished one point ahead of Alonso and he was in the red bull! Don't know what went wrong for him there...

Yep.

Prost was capable of being ruthless, as are all good drivers, but he was no cuntier than any of the others on the grid at the time. Certainly less so than Senna I think.
