I watched the second half of the season on my laptop lol, it was the only way I could gif while watching at the same time. Although as a fan you soon forget about the quality of the video once the race starts and you're fully engaged in the outcome.

Why would it be a joke? We had a year of top notch HD from the BBC last year, why would I accept a shitty SD feed now... especially an SD feed that I had to pay (a ridiculous amount) for?
If I could buy the F1 channel and in HD I'd likely (begrudgingly) stump up the money.
See answer A. What's so lol worthy about not wanting to pay hundreds of pounds a year for SD?
Keep in mind that Virgin customers will have to pay £270 for the privilege of Sky Sports as they can't get the F1 channel separately.

The way you worded your original post, you basically said you won't stand to watch F1 in SD. I'm a Virgin customer too, I get fucked over - but there's no way in hell I'm going to miss a GP thanks to it not being in enough pixels.

The top cascades (with Petronas branding) seem very steep, almost vertical on the outside edges.

They only have half the GPs - Sky have them all.
BBC will show 8 (maybe 9?) races live, with delayed highlights of the rest. Sky will launch a new F1 channel which will show all races live.

Lovely rear end and it certainly looks very aggressively packaged, but we'll have to wait until the end of Melbourne to see if it really is capable of taking it to the front-runners. Still hoping for a Schumacher win and podium during the season and for Nico to pop his cherry.Here are some more:

Most of the cars seem to have a gradual tapering, whereas the Merc transition seems very abrupt. It could just be a trick of the eye though. We'll know more with the official photos.

I also know about the Webberlove, but that scares me a little bit...
Looking forward to the new testingweek, and lets hope McLaren shows a very good pace. It's the only way to get rid of those ugly cars!

Don't worry, I'll be here to protect you from the madmen.
Can't see that happening I'm afraid. It's very unlikely that every team other than MRL have made a mistake and chose the wrong nose. They all would have evaluated both types and the duck nose works best for them, MRL may be able to get away with it with the overall lower chassis and a very aggressive splitter. Teams can develop their splitter, but to lower their chassis to the same degree would require re-homologisation, which would be expensive and time consuming. So I doubt if many (if any) will switch to a standard nose this season.

I'm not convinced that it's all that different from the other cars.
However, I am quite interested by the (possible) cooling vents near the exhaust outlets.
