Perfect conditions for a competitive championship with DRS and Pirelli tyres, the only problem is one team is dominating the sport at the moment.

In all fairness, if RBR was on Ferrari's pace, then McLaren would be dominating instead.

We will see in Canada, but even if Mclaren and Ferrari proposed upgrades work, RBR will probably still be half a second in front...

Yes, I am incredible bitter about the fact Button didn't win it today.
One day, all will be right with the world when drivers who are deserving of race wins will get them based on skill and not luck. Based on that, rather than just following anyone who isn't Vettel, I'll support both Button and Webber equally. Button probably slightly moreso due to his bangin' missus.

Was Button really that close to winning?

Button had pace, freshest tyres of all three, but this is Monaco, he would probably try to jump Alonso, but there was Vettel leading the train...

But their race pace seems to drop off enough for tracks like Canada to open up opportunities...well in theory

If he had waited 2 laps to pit, he would have won.

He was leading the race, McLaren took him in for a pit stop when it wasn't really needed.
And before the red flag he was around 1 second behind vettel

Amazing race. It was way better than Barcelona's. Go back to Jerez or go to Valencia's circuit!

Hamilton desroyed Massa's and Maldonado's great race. What was he thinking?!

Well, I guess Red Bull leads the constructors championship, and Hamilton Leads the destructors one.

It's racing, the rules are there to protect drivers because they will always, always try to be as competitive as possible. A blanket tire change during the red flag period is fair for everyone because no driver in a competitive position would opt to change again under racing conditions. It's not always obvious when someone has picked up debris, it could only show up under racing conditions when it could cause serious damage.
Safety reasons, my ass. If it's so dangerous for the driver, then change the fucking tires during the race. His life is way more important than 25 points. But they didn't, they took the risk and and let him drive 60 laps on one set. A stop during the first SC lap is still the best option, imo, because that would be fair for everyone.

Would have been an even more interesting battle for 1st if Hamilton had actually made a real quali lap, not that I want to blame Perez for that but damn it would have been interesting if Lewis had started from Pole/2nd.

Hamilton needs to dry his eyes on the F1 forum on BBC. If you're before the stewards 5 times this season then you're probably doing something wrong...

edit - lol his black joke went down well.

The race card haha.

Let's be honest though, Hamilton does get his fair share of FIA inquiries.

I've gotta say, things are really swinging towards Hamilton moving teams when his contract is up.

I honestly can't believe he just said that.

Lewis imploding. He's really going to regret that interview tomorrow.

Why? Are people not allowed to speak their minds? Jenson made plenty of interviews just like that last season.

You really think he would leave Maclaren or be moved on? I don't see that happening personally, unless it was to Redbull. But I highly doubt it.

Where is this interview, it wasn't shown in Aus.

Jenson speaks his mind, but he always seems to be in control and he's much better with the press.

Lewis did say sorry to the fans though.

It's on the F1 forum. BBC red button.

I have no doubt Hamilton would leave McLaren if next year doesn't wield a quicker car than RBR. I'm fairly certain that Red Bull would jump high over heels to replace Webber with Hamilton.

The McLaren mistakes just keep coming and coming.

Some people are seriously over dramatising Hamilton's driving today. It was no worse than Vettel at Spa last year.

Jenson is just so smooth with the press, I swear he's always on Brundle's gridwalk.

Damn it. I missed the start of the interview. What was he saying about his race being a shambles. I think he mentioned his driving too.

That's the only part I managed to catch.

Massa's crash was his own fault. What the hell was he thinking driving at that speed out on the marbles.
Hamilton destroyed Massa's front wing. The tunnel is where you need more downforce on the track, and he went to the marbles because the downforce wasn't there when he needed.
