Hamilton, Newey and Vettel would be very costly.

The damage was caused by Massa hitting Webber's right rear. It only looked like some endplate damage anyway.Daniel Dantas said:Hamilton destroyed Massa's front wing. The tunnel is where you need more downforce on the track, and he went to the marbles because the downforce wasn't there when he needed.
He wasn't being serious about it but his tone didn't really make it clear he was joking.Wes said:So he was just quoting Ali G? Whilst I didn't see it live it sounds like he was being sarcastic to use a comedian's quote.

He was joking about the race thing but he is seriously fed up with getting penalties.
It'll be up once the BBC Forum is over.Omiee said:is there a video link?
It was on the F1 forum on the BBC so I imagine the interview will be up on the website soon and the full programme will be on the iplayer a bit later.Omiee said:is there a video link?
Kobayashi, because of this he is under investigationIgo said:Was it Maldonado that put Sutil in the wall? I hadn't seen that angle before.
That was a different incident. The one i'm talking about is right before the massive pileup into the swimming pool chicane.DrM said:Kobayashi, because of this he is under investigation
Dunno, i saw one Sauber messing around with Force India right before that pileup... but Maldonado was also close,.Igo said:That was a different incident. The one i'm talking about is right before the massive pileup into the swimming pool chicane.
Look, I'm all for drivers with adamantium balls, but Hamilton doesn't think realistic enough.Mohonky said:I think people are being a bit rich on Hamilton though. The Massa thing was quite meh. He could have he couldn't have, he tried. It's one of the reasons I like him, he'll go for it if he see's even a hint that there is a chance. Snap decision and it didn't work.

The Toro Rosso, Webber and Massa are all taking the exact same line. Massa sees Hamilton and tries to cut him off - look how he suddenly cuts the corner compared to the Toro Rosso and Webber. Nobody yields and shit happens.brotkasten said:Look, I'm all for drivers with adamantium balls, but Hamilton doesn't think realistic enough.

i think this was also discussed one or two races ago, Hamilton likes to put himself in a "if you don't yield we will crash" position, this works on some drivers, but as seen today on others it doesn'tRomanticHeroX said:The only way Hamilton was going to make that move stick was if Massa completely left the door open. Hamilton dove to the inside but his nose was barely to Massa's rear wheels when Massa turned in. Unless he was expecting Massa to let him through that was never going to work.
So this was the revenge for Fuji 2008? :lol Hamilton isn't even next to Massa at the beginning of the corner. How can anyone think that it would've been possible to overtake in that situation? What do you think Massa should've done? Take the corner even wider than Webber, so Hamilton can pass?John_B said:The Toro Rosso, Webber and Massa are all taking the exact same line. Hamilton was hot headed today and was probably trying a bit too hard considering the track. It's still racing and the whole point is to overtake your opponents. People act like Hamilton is doing something else than racing.
Remember Massa driving straight into the side of Hamilton in Fuji 2008? That was not even an attempt of overtaking. Calm down the bitching.
Hamilton shouldn't have watched the Top Gear segment about Senna. :lolS. L. said:i think this was also discussed one or two races ago, Hamilton likes to put himself in a "if you don't yield we will crash" position, this works on some drivers, but as seen today on others it doesn't
