If Webber hadn't had fucked up in South Korea, he likely would have been champion.

There might be people at RBR that prefer Vettel, but that's not been an impediment to Webber having great performances in his time in a competitive car. Which is exactly what any driver needs to really show their true worth - a competitive car.
Webber could've won the WDC in the last race, but RBR decided to use him to trick Ferrari.

Rosberg replaces webber, and RB get Merc engines. Koba to Ferrari with Massa to Sauber.

Believe.
I'm okay with that.

Better than playing second fiddle to a hasbeen which is his current situation...
According to rumours, it's Rosberg who's getting preferential treatment from Merc, not Schumacher. But like I said, just rumours.

Webber could've won the WDC in the last race had he not choked in qualifying and ended up in fifth.

Bahrain isn't actually a bad track. After putting some time into it on F1 2010 I actually really like it.

With DRS zones and KERS, it could be a good race this year. Let's just wait and see.

Oh I know and I'm sure the race behind Vettel will be exciting. I just refuse to have anything to do with such a repressive and murderous regime. This will be the first race I have not seen in years but it just does not seem right to watch it.

Half of this track list doesn't deserve to be part of an F1 season IMO...

But, but...every track is good this year! right? right!

If Monaco & Barcelona were super interesting, any track can be super interesting!

Yeah but no fun to watch. :(

Sure Vettel will win, but everything else should be interesting! :)

Indeed. I will probably watch it, but it is certainly a shitty decision.

Mclaren screwed themselves completely today.
I'd actually say they screwed themselves on Saturday. If Lewis had set a fast time before Perez' accident, I honestly think Mclaren would have been 1-2 at the end of the race.

I honestly can't believe he just said that.

Lewis imploding. He's really going to regret that interview tomorrow.
I thought that was a great interview and I found his joke to be quite funny.

During the 2009 event, Valencia signed a deal for a further 5 races, which puts Valencia on the calendar until 2014.

BTW, what would be your perfect F1 track list ? I'm talking about tracks that are still usable, you can't choose Old Hockeinheim for example. My take on it :

Australia
Macau
Turkey
Spain (Jerez)
Monaco
San Marino
Canada
United States (Austin track)
France (Dijon)
Great Britain (Silverstone pre-10')
Germany (Nurburgring GP)
Belgium
Italy
India (we'll have to see how that turns out)
Asia (Fuji Speedway)
Japan (Suzuka)
Brazil

I can't recall if there were problems of attendance when both the European and the German GP were held in Germany, anyone has some numbers on that ? Although, it was during the Schumacher era so results might be biased.
Maybe moving one of the GP after or before Macau could work, to spread the two races across the calendar. The first race would attract people because it's the beginning of season and the second because it might be a title deciding race.

Hey S.L. I ran across your blag. You've got some sick model skills. What kind of airbrush and compressor do you own? I'm looking into buying one myself.

May 17th. It's going to be hot as fuck in Austin, but I will definitely try to make it.

I didnt know this about Bahrain

The drivers do not spray the traditional champagne on the podium, although alcoholic beverages are legal in Bahrain, in contrast to neighbouring Qatar and Saudi Arabia. Instead, they spray a non-alcoholic rosewater drink known as Waard.

The foundations of any F1 calendar must include the following:

Spa
Suzuka
Monza
Silverstone
Monaco
Circuit Gilles Villeneuve
Interlagos
Melbourne.

Everything else is riff raff in comparison. If you want to expand the calendar then add the following:

Portimao
Jerez
Potrero de los Funes Circuit (Argentina)
Paul Ricard
Red Bull Ring.

This, bascially.

Just caught up with the news, and while I don't find it surprising that Bahrain has been reinstated, I'm very surprised that it's staying as the first race of 2012.

I can see it backfiring on them pretty badly if the situation in Bahrain deteriorates again in the lead up to the 2011 race, as you'll have doubt cast over two GPs. And if things get ugly this year, there will probably be no chance of the 2012 race taking place so soon after.
