Boogity, boogity, boogity, Amen!

Something awesome from across the pond... The pre-race prayer at last weekend's Nashville Nascar race. :)

No idea if they do prayers at every track in Nascar, but just listen to this one. So much passion.

The second one was Hamilton coming out of the pits and Webber trying to overtake and Hamilton blocked him, Webber was on new tires then as well so it was easier to block I expect.
Webber's tires were fully up to temperature by the time Lewis exited pit lane.

I think the two events are almost identical (Webber trying to pass Lewis and Lewis passing Fernando).

I'm sure you do :)

Just watched the BBC Forum for the race recently and there was an interesting fact, only 29% off all passes so far this season were DRS related.

The other 71% were via KERS when the driver in front had used all of theirs trying to stay ahead in a DRS zone. ;)

I almost find it quite sad that it people have been bickering over that for the entire week.

Time to read Webber's column, always a great read.

I am looking to get another big chunk of points - the first win of the season would be nice - and hopefully take some points off Sebastian Vettel and trim his championship lead a bit more.
Love it. There are few other current drivers I could imagine being as open or down to earth as Webber is.

Just about all of the top drivers have said that line so far this season. But you are right.

What have people been saying. It was clearly a fair move by Webber to try and overtake and a fair move by Lewis to cock block him.

Mercedes is hiring like crazy - Job listing

According to Bild, they are looking for 100 new engineers. They are using C++ for their simulator software. Most of new people will go into Brackley, where Bob Bell is rebuilding the team.

He is someone I see becoming a sports or f1 comentator when he retires.

Webber would be great on the BBC team. Him and Button are pretty much the nicest blokes in the sport.

Have you not heard him in radio interviews? His voice pretty much has one tone.

Most F1 drivers would make horrible commentators, with the obvious exceptions (Brundle, DC, etc).

Very few engineer jobs in there, most of them are technicians. Hiring people is good, but on the face of it the jobs they are hiring for aren't important in the design of the car.

Expect more job offers in the autumn. This is one of the measures that were taken by Daimler bosses - from 450 to 550 people in Mercedes GP.

Damn, I will miss Saturday events and maybe even the race on Sunday. My cousin invited me to some movie festival aka 'time to get totally drunk and chase some girls' on the other side of country.

Meh. Bring the girls back to watch the F1 with you. You get your very own pit babes.
