woow 20 races, niceee.

Its a shame turkey is out though, i really like that track in f1 2010. Anyhow that 5 week break should be fun if some of us enter a pc f1 league.
I have a wheel and a beast of a pc so it should not be a problem.

What are some of the pc's you guys have here and Internet connections?

While were at it, do any of you guys have a collection of miniature f1 cars. I just ordered 15, im hoping to put them in a nice open closet.

I have several 1:18 scale models. I have Villeneuve in '97, Schumacher 02 and 03, Alonso in the R23 and R25, Kimi in the MP4-17D and Montoya in the FW23. I would like to get a Hamilton and a Vettel car sometime.

Same here, plus the Brabham BT52, Jordan 191, MP4/4 (Senna) Benetton B195, Lotus 79, Lotus 97T, Williams FW15C and numerous Le Mans models.

Are you guys buying diecast or like Tamiya models? I have no F1 models of either. :( There was a hobby shop close by that went out of business earlier this year so I bought a old school Subaru Impreza WRC model and an AE86 Tsuchiya model.....I have yet to start putting them together.

Diecast models.

Minichamps make some great models. There's a great range available from Grand Prix Legends.

Thanks for the link, they look really good. I'll be looking to pick some up soon. I need to look around for an old school 911 turbo for my bro too as he bought one a while back; something for his home or work desk.

I've been looking around for some F1 miniatures, but I'm pretty much only interested in 2011 at the moment because I have no emotional ties to any other years. I'd also be interested in hobby-quality F1 RC cars, but I don't think they make them.

Yeah Tamiya makes good RC cars. My bro had a Striker as his first RC car. It had a 540 motor which was huge at the time (/shows age). The TT-01 was huge in the RC drifting scene as well. I have a TC3 in full 200mm conversion drift spec in the garage right now.

Gents,

I also uploaded a bunch of WRC photos in addition to the F1 ones.

I also put up the last season of Top Gear UK in H.D. so PM me for access!

I have a 1/5th Scale HPi Baja 5B. It's a big money pit. I haven't even touched it this year :(

Damn, didn't realize there were some folks into Tamiya, F1 car models, etc.

I'll let you guys know next time I see a special or something. HobbyLink Japan just finished up a sale on all their Tamiya stuff within the past month.

Poop! It sounds like Trulli has re-signed with Lotus for next year, which means by dream of Alexander Rossi getting his seat won't come true now. :(

I have this TT-01 drift converted to track racing chassis too!

It's a very expensive hobby, i used to race them at a relatively small track back in Singapore at the east coast beach. This whole thing must have costed at least like $500 singaporean dollars. Got about 3-4 sets of tyres, slicks, treaded, drift. 2 packs of batteries, charger.. loads of spare parts. Now they are just lying in a box. I can't race it anywhere here. :(

I had a Dirt Thrasher. I never did any upgrades short of a higher capacity battery, but my brother went pretty nuts. So much fun, that little thing.

It's definitely not Webber. I'd go with Button.[/QUOTE]
Seriously? Pick the odd one out:

Maybe as a new James Bond, but as a classic (ie. the ones with Jaws in them) you can't go past Webber. Mark Webber. Shaken, not stalled.

Just because you posted a bigger image doesn't make it any better :p

Edit: Incorrect, the odd one out is JB, because he isn't a badass like Webber. Too happy all the time! Mark has attitude.

Ah, but Jenson has this:

And anyone knows Bond has to have the ladies too. With all due respect I won't bother posting a pic of Webber's wife. :p

Maybe new Bond, but not classic Bond. Classic Bond is tall, dark, suave and mysterious. Button is only... most of those things.

Okay, this is officially the most peculiar thing that's ever been discussed in this thread.
Only because the answer is so goddamned obvious yet people are still debating it. Button? Really? It can only be the man with a face that could only be chiselled by Michaelangelo himself.

He does that so any woman can think that they have a chance at him. Doesn't stop him looking, though:

Webber does look cool in a suit.

I agree with it being the most peculiar thing ever discussed, but I'm avoiding studying for an exam, you? :p

Edit: Nothing beats Michibata, you know that.

Dieacast models, Tamiya radio controlled cars, evil Maldonado, James Bond; this has to be the best page of this thread. Although, the bird spotting during the Canadian GP was pretty good as well. ;)
