You F1 2010 guys really should get into some proper rFactor mods and feel a closer comparison to how tough it really is I love spending 10-20 hours preparing for a race, only to have some start-happy guy in the field crash me out in the first corner. I get why the drivers sometimes want to jump each other when that happens.

Just reading up on HRT. What an embarrassment yet again this year.

They are only assembling the car for the first time during FP1, FP2 and have had to stick on last years front wing as their "computer rendered" one has failed the crash tests.

Already used 1 of 4 curfew nights to fix Luizzi car & will spent another to get the 2nd car ready for tomorrow.

Anyway, So will the Hilarious Racing Team actually manage a lap in Qualifying? With the 107% rule in play they surely wont be able to get close and require a derogation to race? In all honesty I am getting sick of the team, even in the days of Minardi they always put 100% effort in and raced & tested hard, even though their cars were awful, HRT is just embarrassing to watch.

Anyway, Quali tomorrow will be interesting. I reckon an RBR will be on pole, probably Webber if anyone, but I will revise my expectations of Ferrari being the team following them. While I expect Alonso to mix it, and possibly pip 3rd or so if he does well, I expect Button and Hamilton to be up there now, the McLaren revisions appear to have worked miracles. As for the race itself? Who knows. I expect it all to be about the tyres, with the likes of Button, Alonso and the Mercedes guys to have the edge. How it all pans out though? Not sure, I'm really not.

Yes, I got up at 1:15am this morning for FP1, there is no way on earth I am missing qualifying, or FP3 at 3am.

HRT are the legacy of an awful FIA president, they would not be missed should they no longer compete in F1.

Getting up for FP3 then a short nap before qualifying at 5am. Sunday will be torture with the clocks going forward 1 hour.

For tomorrow I expect Ferrari and Red Bull to show their true pace in FP3 and one of them to take pole, Hamilton's fastest FP2 lap came on a one lap stint and Button's on a 3 lap(fastest lap on the third lap which was quite interesting). The most interesting factor that I think will emerge from this weekend is how fast the Pirelli tyres will degrade and which car can lengthen the life of the tyre.

ok,
here are my predictions.
It will be an absolutely dominant 1-2 pole for RBR, Vettel on 1. The RBR seems to be incredibly soft on the tyres here. While most did 3-4 lap stints on the soft tyres in FP2.
RBR did 5-6 laps, and Vettel set his fastest time on the 6th lap. I expect them to break the 1.24 in Q3 tomorrow.

Mcl seems to have caught up to Ferrari thou, their times seem to be comparable in FP2, but maybe Mcl pushed more today as they had to test out their new package.
