No way. This gif WILL get posted in the Sony press conference 2015 thread:

Right under that, they say that they're anticipating Zelda, despite Aonuma confirming back in March that it won't show up at E3 this year, so I absolutely want to see the receipts on this one.
Hmmm.

I'm starting to get a bad feeling about this one being right. I reached out to the author on Twitter but I haven't heard anything back.

Horizon demo starts

Robot dinosaur cries

Hunters emerge, one controls by the player, the others by other players with PSN Names all hovering over their heads

They take down the dinosaur, and with its dying breath, it screeches

Confused, the hunters begin to dismantle the dinosaur

It wasn't a robot dinosaur at all. It was a giant cat bird wearing armor.

The players have just killed it, though. As the cat bird dies, as does The Last Guardian, and with it, the dreams of NeoGaf.

IDK why anyone doubts the game is going to come out. Sony and their reps have said repeatedly and recently that the game is still in development. It's a matter of when, not If.

But like the article says, who knows if it will be anything like what was previously shown.

Do you guys even know what this means?
The Guardian is as reputable as you can get.
It's confirmed. Let's fucking party like its 2008.

So I get the sense, if this game is actually announced at E3 2015 there will be meltdowns across Gaf from the die-hard, but does anyone actually believe that this game will be what everyone is hoping it will be.

As it stands now, its this perfect game in everyones mind that has been in development for 10-ish years and will have all this great stuff in it. It was in development for PS3 and then shelved. How many games that have been hanging around this long and have all the fits and starts actually end up being amazing?

Many people will get excited, but I think the hype train for this game is more revolving around the fact that it hasn't existed for 10ish years rather than true expectations for what the game may be.

One week left until people remember that this is a puzzle game about throwing barrels at guards in stealth sections and herding a deliberately unreliable AI partner around

:)

A Guardian link that isn't posted by Oni-Link? I am shocked.

But man this article is a slap in the face trying to raise my hope.

Still, believe!

The Last Guardian is in fact a visual novel in which you need to find the last subscriptor for The Guardian and make him question what he does with his life and if all of these make really sense.

Well what's wrong with that?
Don't try to poop on my party or I poop back!!!
not really, poop is poop not war material

So when The Guardian people talk about The Last Guardian, do they call it The Last Of Us?

I actually gasped when I saw this thread's title. Trying not to get my hopes up too high, but this is looking more and more likely. This is the year. Come on Sony, you need to make this happen.

My god, a third and likely final Team ICO game. A glorious and majestic swansong.

Why is there so much hype on this game?

I'm pretty sure even if it's announced it won't achieve mainstream success.

Now before anyone gets defensive, I'm not saying only a game achieving mainstream success is good.

How many copies a game sells is irrelevant as to whether it's good or not, but I'm wondering why some people are saying that the last guardian releasing would break the Internet and would be the biggest thing ever.

It seems more like a vocal minority getting excited rather than the way people are portraying the excitement EVERY person on the Internet would apparently have.

Outside of neogaf it seems like most people couldn't give a shit about this game, or even have heard of it.

It's certainly tempting me into trying team ico's previous games though, to see what it's all about.
