Local High School Newspaper Swears Last Guardian Will Be At E3, Seriously Guys
One week left until people remember that this is a puzzle game about throwing barrels at guards in stealth sections and herding a deliberately unreliable AI partner around
That still sounds awesome, though.Well Shadow was a game about riding a horse to stick a sword into giants heads. Epic just the same. He's a closet believer....we have many of those.
At this rate, Half-Life 3 is going to be announced for fall 2015 today.

So I get the sense, if this game is actually announced at E3 2015 there will be meltdowns across Gaf from the die-hard, but does anyone actually believe that this game will be what everyone is hoping it will be.
As it stands now, its this perfect game in everyones mind that has been in development for 10-ish years and will have all this great stuff in it. It was in development for PS3 and then shelved. How many games that have been hanging around this long and have all the fits and starts actually end up being amazing?
Many people will get excited, but I think the hype train for this game is more revolving around the fact that it hasn't existed for 10ish years rather than true expectations for what the game may be.

I give you one last chance Last Guardian, one. last. chance.
Why is there so much hype on this game?
I'm pretty sure even if it's announced it won't achieve mainstream success.
Now before anyone gets defensive, I'm not saying only a game achieving mainstream success is good.
How many copies a game sells is irrelevant as to whether it's good or not, but I'm wondering why some people are saying that the last guardian releasing would break the Internet and would be the biggest thing ever.
It seems more like a vocal minority getting excited rather than the way people are portraying the excitement EVERY person on the Internet would apparently have.
Outside of neogaf it seems like most people couldn't give a shit about this game, or even have heard of it.
It's certainly tempting me into trying team ico's previous games though, to see what it's all about.
The only way the vita can be saved imoVita exclusive!
You must be one of the guys that also doesn't want to believe in Shenmue 3.
SMH.
Lmfao too bad neither will actually be there. The Last Guardian at e3 this year but not FFXV.

Legend of Zelda (Nintendo, Wii U)
With Star Fox and maybe even F-Zero returning, this could be a key year for Nintendo. But the latest title in the developers beloved action RPG series will be the star of the stage with its more open world feel and a fresh approach to dungeons, puzzles and narrative quests. Well discover more in Los Angeles, but for now, drink in those gorgeous hazy visuals.
I was just trying to understand why some people think this game will be so BIG.
