Japan's having trouble beating both games...deejay8595 said:Alright. Can someone post the damn TLG New footage from the disc?
The footage is unlocked after one beats the game?shwimpy said:Japan's having trouble beating both games...
They never said there was such footage on the Japanese version, I believe.deejay8595 said:Alright. Can someone post the damn TLG New footage from the disc?
denomes said:Do the Japanese LE editions have English subtitles? Can anyone confirm? Just curious.
Neither game needs English though, does it? Ico certainly doesn't, which is why the set's so desirable to me.colinp said:No English, alas.
I think you mean SotC...Trojita said:I'm looking forward to playing SOTC and Ico again.
I think the last boss I killed in Ico was surrounded by water.

Pretty sure what you're alluding to was in a trailer for the game. I'm pretty spoiler sensitive but I think you're stretching a bit.toythatkills said:Mark spoilers as spoilers, maybe?

It's not the existence of water, it's that you fight a boss in it. When Shadow of the Colossus is all about the next big boss and not knowing what's coming, knowing that there's going to be a water boss is a spoiler. It's not a game-ruining spoiler, but it still means that someone can't now go into the game as fresh as someone who was playing it for the first time six years ago.StuBurns said:I don't want to live in a world where the existence of water is a spoiler.
It's ironic because the boss in question istoythatkills said:It's not the existence of water, it's that you fight a boss in it. shadyspace said:Anybody in this thread who actually likes Ico more than Shadow? I like Ico more in concept and Shadow more in practice imo.
Well I assure you, what he posted is not a spoiler, even in the sense you're talking.toythatkills said:I can neither read nor quote that post to see what you said :lol
I love both of them to death but I've never seen anyone who preferred the pure gameplay experience of Ico over SotC.IrrelevantNotch said:I'd probably love ICO if not for the camera. Quit about 30 minutes in cause it was giving me a headache.

I hope you didn't edit that because you were concerned about people jumping on your post.Pelydr said:I only want Shadow. Never did play it.

StuBurns said:I think it helps that the game is mad easy. Escort missions usually suck because the other person has a health bar, and is weak sauce, constantly dying. It's really easy to run thru Ico without Yorda ever being dragged down.
And that's not like message board bravado crap, I'm terrible at video games.
One thing I don't remember if the game actually tells you, is if you can get to those magic gates with Yorda, all the monsters will disappear. You very rarely have to actually fight stuff.cnizzle06 said:I must've been worse than you, at least when it was released, because I recall wanting to throw my controller at those goddamn shadow fuckers.
They're going down this time

Do you think Devil May Cry is better than Superman 64?Ra1den said:I don't get how people can say Ico is better than SotC. They are two completely different games. Kinda like saying Gran Turismo is better than Final Fantasy (this is an extreme example obviously). Just doesn't make sense.
