I honestly thought it was pretty clear from their quotes that this game was still in development and not ready to show? What are you guys smoking? I honestly didn't expect it. Although at the end some dirty devil inside me was hoping. U4 appeased me though.

It has been YEARS since its initial unveil and since then....nothing, absolutely nothing. They could have given us trailers, some news here and there, screen shots of the game in development or hell, say another team is working on it. But nope, Team Ico has spent years doing nothing, just 'saying' that they are working on this game.
Thankfully, Studio Japan has moved on from them, making great Vita and PS3 games with Gravity Rush, Toko Jungle, Rain, Puppeteer, Freedom Wars and Soul Sacrifice, so at least this game finally stopped dragging the studio with them.
For those still holding out hope for this....take this into consideration; if the game isn't dead, why didn't we see a teaser this E3? Uncharted 4 was reported to be completely re-booted early this year and yet that got a (great I might add
) trailer this E3, so what's Last Guardian's excuse, where the game had YEARS and YEARS of time to get something to show.
At least Square Enix finally showed off Verses XIII (now called FF XV) at this point....though we will have to wait till the PS5 for that to come out :l.

If they had ANYTHING they would have shown it to us. We got shown concept art and CG cut scenes ffs. They could have easily taken 10 seconds to show us a title screen, they didn't. It's dead, it's dead and buried. They just don't want to admit it during E3.
We all owe IGN an apology for not believing them at this point. They told us the hard truth, they knew it would hurt us but they said it anyway. Just admit it's dead and gone.
He said he was right about saying it was on hiatus, Geoff said Sony disagree, and Tretton mocked that they'd be seeing reveal then, with absolute confidence it wouldn't be shown.
As if he told the truth, and was irritated Shu ever contradicted him.
At least that was my impression.

Jack seemed super positive it wasn't going to be at E3 on the Gametrailers stream, He was really awkward about it.

Yeah I don't understand why people have been giving IGN so much shit over that article. Until I see SOMETHING new from it then as far as I'm concerned it's dead.
Are you funding the game or Sony? The money is a non issue for us, its Sony's problem.
Also dont forget that Sony would is the ones that fund more risky, creative games unlike EA and UBI who would shoot down something like TLoU or make it a typical TPS without any of the magic that ND has and adds to their games.
It's like that Spongebob episode where he and Patrick start taking care of a baby clam and then Spongebob has to do it all by himself because Patrick won't do shit and when he talks to him he promises he'll start to help him the next day, and then the next day passes and Patrick assures Bob he'll really do it next day, and it goes on and on and on, until Patrick promises to help him..
