Damn. I'm not one for gore for gore's sake, but I really think these kinds of things fit TLoU's grimdark tone well. Shame they censored it in here.

I understand that you don't understand, but look at it this way: Most people here are not only passionate about games in general, but also have a collector's mindset. Imagine that you're favorite movie is Aliens but you're stuck with the VHS version of it. Wouldn,t you love to have the latest blu-ray version with pristine IQ and 5.1 surround sound?
It's PERFECTLY normal wanting to have the best version possible of your favorite media, wether its games, movies, music, books, Etc. And if it is the best version of your favorite title from your favorite hobby... its also normal to look forward to that more than anything else.
Its not about the resolution, its about having the best version possible.

Was it censored in all of Europe? I remember seeing a tonne of gore in it here in Ireland.
Same here in the Netherlands. Could it be just Germany? Those guys love their censorship.

That DLC was really rather short just FYI in case you are thinking about it. I enjoyed it but just a taste IMO.

Yes, was censored everywhere in europe.
But only in multiplayer.
Singleplay had all the gore, also the stuff that had to be cut in multiplayer.

Heads do not just disappear, not even with a big caliber. EU version is fine.

Point blank shotgun blast will pretty much make things disappear.

How is it possible to be this excited about a game ive beaten 4 times!!!
Thus is exactly why I'm very hyped for this game. Socom 2 is my favorite game and the multiplayer for tlou kind of fills that hole with its third person gameplay. I can't wait for h hour as well.

I really hope online stats including trophies unlocked carry over, online trophies that is. Not single player. I want to get them all over again.
Shotguns at point blank range tends to make houdini acts. Heads do not stay in perfect condition with no visible damage of any kind from a shotgun to the face. EU version is censored, not fine.
I'll be surprised if someone could still have a head after a shotgun to the face, lol.

What are the chances of The Last of Us being played on stage at this E3 to show the visual improvements? And quickly before the demo ends, nathan drake's voice is heard and camera quickly focuses on joel(who's now trying listen to the voice) and immediately the screen fades out and Nathan Drake is shown running and doing his epic stuff in a 45 second short gameplay teaser?

Don't think it works that way. Either all trophies carry over or they don't. Trust me i wish it were like you're saying but i have no problem getting the online trophies again.

You never know, it worked that way with Battlefield 4. Just the online trophies. Once you booted it up on PS4 and went into a match all trophies popped.

All depends on what you are using in that shotgun I think. If you are using 3.5 slugs well then no not much or it might split who knows. Magnums can pretty much explode a head if hit right and big enough bullet. I think even some kinds of shot could do some major damage enough to leave not much if fired a little bit away.
At any rate having nothing happen is just not right.
Wow, can't believe how many people already live in a movie and videogame reality and believe exploding and disappearing heads are something close to reality.
