Yeah, this. I doubt ND would ignore something like this because it is a pretty big issue for a lot of people. Headshot is an instant kill. Always has, always should be.

First, "GAF" is not a hivemind, and you should probably learn that because mods ban for that shit. Just a heads up, not trying to be mean I don't want to see you gone just because you're being a little naive. Also, nobody hates games that review well - nobody is in kindergarten or thinks it's hip to "go against the crowd." Virtually all us like this simply don't care about reviews one way or another and form their OWN individual opinions, which often are at odds with the reviews because game journalists are a joke.
So Darknessbear, do you really need to do this AGAIN? Just ignore the posts that offend your delicate sensibilities, and quote and respond to posts which frolic without negativity and have rainbows and pretty butterflies hovering over their posts ;P
Really? You don't see what the problem is? I guess gametrailers documentary was right about some on GAF not understanding the industry. You do realize zero day full price sales are super important to a games success right? If you don't support the developers at the most important time why should they value your opinions on their game?

Late ports usually score lesser marks in most cases, unless there are notable improvements or additions.
In any case, I'm looking forward to The Last of Us! Will probably hold off for a month or two while I finish Fallout:NV and State of Decay.

Ehhhh.... To be fair, I'd honestly give Ni No Kuni a 6.5 as well. I put in 23 hours and stopped because the combat was lame and the story wasn't hooking me. This is coming from a huge Level 5 and Ghibli fan.
Did you? He criticizes it for being ultra violent and keeps going back to it, almost as if he wants it to be another game or something.
Does not compute. I found the combat to be simple, quirky and fun. The fun is in the Familiars and mixing up abilities for tactical or dramatic effect.

This was my main beef with it. He completely and utterly missed the point of the game and it's premise. When the chips are down, and when your life and survival are at stake, when everything is shitty and anyone can be a threat, the killer instinct in you is what you rely on to get by, and you have no choice but to desensitise and accept it as a natural way of life, even if you have a young passenger.
In such a world, even if you had a daughter, or especially if you had a daughter, you'd do exactly the same. It's the harsh reality the game exemplifies.

I believe it's because of the stigma of the connection Polygon has with Microsoft through independent funding.
I think it's a little ridiculous, but Ni No Kuni getting a 6.5 is shameful.
Didn't Microsoft only fund the documentary and not their day to day operation or the creation of their site? Last time I checked the facts, this was the case.
