Big-ass Ramp
hella bullets that's true
So I'll probably never play this, right? I'm saving money for PS4/XBO and will probably never buy a PS3 again.
Yeah the touching the wall was a bit much.
My biggest gripes with Uncharted 3:
1. Overuse of Spiders (We get it, you made the tech now you have to use it 4 times).
2. Logical gaps in story (Talbot, Talbot Talbot).
3. Rushed ending.
4. I didn't like the design of the Atlantis of the Sea as much as Uncharted 2's Shambhala.
My highlights:
1. Best set pieces of the entire franchise, hands down. Also the best puzzles in the series.
2. Fantastic interaction and character development between Drake and Sully.
3. Cool new additions such as vertical cover, improved melee and throwing back grenades.
4. Unbelievably stunning presentation. Best looking console game bar-none.
In the end, Uncharted 3 nails what matters most and is a rousing success for me.
Also fighting giant Jimmy Hopkins 5 times was a bit fucking much. They couldve chopped it down to two and even then it wouldve been weird. They shouldve kept one Jimmy and it shouldve been on the cargo plane.

Just finished playing UC3 last night, and I'd mostly agree with all of that. Maybe not number 4 in the gripes as I did find that city pretty stunning.
Definitely the best set pieces though. I especially loved the horseback scenes.
Might as well by the disc then. I'll just buy it of digitally if ever a sale comes on PSN.
I'm seriously freaking out at how much I'm enjoying Uncharted 2 right now.
Wow....Now I know why the Polygon reviewer didn't like it.

Watch this part. He simply sucks at the game, I don't mean that as an insult, just watching him shoot is painful.
This isn't a run and gun game, and he's clearly moving all over the place when taking shots. You are supposed to stand still, catch your breath (the reticule will minimize) and then take your shot.
I just found out about this thread. Incredible. I'm too much of a pussy to bump it but yeah, it somewhat makes sense now.

Probably your best bet, I personally like having physical copies of games.
You're in for quite the ride laddy![]()
Wow....
I'm jealous. I wish I could play Uncharted 2 for the first time again.

I played the demo, no such issue with the shooting like that. As I said this isn't Uncharted, this is stop and pop gunplay likeRE4.Manhunt
Well, I've played 41% of it prior to today.I can't believe you waited this long to play it. Until you finish it your dead to me.

I don't have a problem with him being bad at it at not enjoying it as much, but he blames the game itself for having bad gunplay instead.

Ok brain. Stop coming to this thread! Apparently my brain likes to live dangerously...
Nobody has spoiled anything in here, calm down bear.Ok brain. Stop coming to this thread! Apparently my brain likes to live dangerously...
He just doesn't get that you can't just stand there and take your time to shoot down the enemies. You're supposed to run when 3 of these guys come at you. He's standing there slowly backing up, hoping to kill one of the clickers EVEN THOUGH he knows that you die in one shot... That's called stupid.
I'm convinced that the masterful use of depth of field and motion blur is what makes Uncharted 2 look "good for a console game".
The aliasing isn't even really that bad. The frame rate is kind of making me sick, though.

Holy crap he sucks at this game lol. What the hell is up with this? Playing the demo I'm about 1000% more accurate and tactical than this guy is.
Not my fault.
Bad gunplay man.
I'm really happy to see how amazingly high this game is being scored. Really looking forward to playing this on release.
Only thing I'm sad about is that the game will probably not sell all that well because it's not a brainless shoot thousands of aliens game.
Nvm I am wrong.
Aw man. Get on that. The influence in TLOU is strong. Real strong.
I'm trying my hardest to not go to the wiki and see what the beginning is like. Why can't this come out Friday :[
I'll be surprised if it sells less than 5 million.
The first time I stirred up that group of runners in the demo, it felt just like Manhunt when you had a ton of guys after you and were sprinting away desperately trying to lose them. Manhunt was so intense.
