It's a PSP/(Vita) game. They've shown often enough that they don't give a damn about it. If it's put up today we have to pray it's even flagged as Vita compatible.

Well, Sony said they would in The Drop for this week on their blog. I can think of a couple times when SCEA missed the Tuesday update and it got delayed to Wednesday, but that hasn't happened in a long time.

Isn't Estelle's weapon supposed to transfer over too? I'm using a save with her Ultimate weapon unlocked. But I just seem to have a regular staff.

It doesn't. But if you pay attention you'll notice that ultimate weapon would be obsolete pretty much immediately anyway.
I've tried it both on and off and I still get stuttering, especially indoors. It doesnt make a difference lowering settings either.
Maybe its my ancient laptop but Oath in Felghana runs fine on it.
Yeah, I saw Yian's post before I left and bought it right then and there. I can't wait to get home. Glad to be replaying it on my Vita!

Sony's trying to keep the JRPG count to 0 this week, it seems.
Make sure you give em your specs, otherwise it is harder to help.
OS, Ram count, graphics card, etc.
All because of the man with many cheeses.

I have unstable fps too but mine stays above 100 most of the time, sometimes dropping to 60. But more importantly I had a game crash in the very first dungeon (later checked GPU was hot).
Anybody got past that dungeon without problems?
SCEE at least consistently updates their store every week at the same time.

It wouldn't have gotten out of QA if it was generally unstable. I know I had no problems with it, and I've been playing the same build you all have now.
If the issue persists, make a report about it. Also make sure there isn't something in the driver configuration making the card overwork.

I thought I had gotten lucky by having today off of work.
Turns out it would have been better for me to go to work after all. At least I wouldn't have been slowly going insane refreshing the store.

Oh yeah, books. Might as well help, so far I've found two volumes of Gambling Jack (
) and 2 volumes of the news from random shop keepers (

1st was in one of the rooms upstairs in the prologue area's lodge, second one you get from Ruan's casino for 100 medals
first from the general store in Estelle's home village iirc, second one from a ticket seller or something in one of the airports, can't remember which one
this is pretty much the other half of FC, as if you never stopped playing after FC ended. they really did a fine good job in implementing the whole idea of Estelle being now a senior bracer, so as I thought she's at the same level, with the same stats and considering that you're going against someone/something way stronger than whatever you faced before it makes perfect sense. pretty much everything ''scaled'' in accordance with the events of the first game. they explain how you get to improve your orbment, how you're able to access to more powerful and useful arts, how you lose your quartz from the first game (doesn't really explain how you lose all your items though ) etc. in a way it also excuses the fact that you don't really have many spells to play with in FC.
I'm not used to this kind of ''self-awareness'' and realism in a jprg and it's great.
speaking of orbments, Impede and EP CUT were nerfed a lot, especially Impede. also it doesn't seem like I'll be able to abuse Earth Wall and White Gehenna early in the game. *sadface*
honestly this Luck quartz I got from the 368/368 save file seems useless unless the accessories dropped by the shining poms are something worth having. the sepith drop rate increase one would have been much better.

man I wasn't expecting to get hit by the feels right after starting the game. I feel HORRIBLE for Estelle. Jesus that is rough.

When I was reading up on it the person made it seem like it would be super useful for getting a certain drop at somepoint early on.
So maybe some time saving?

depends on what is that drop. FC didn't have any drop worth grinding for, those shining poms accessories were hardly worth the effort.

You really, really shouldn't do Nightmare for a first playthrough.
I normally do it with Ys if available, which works out fine. Trails might be a different story though.

For me it's also a matter of principle.
PC games should support arbitrary resolutions, and localizations should include the original voice track. That's how the world is supposed to be.
