I just thought about it and it's stupid that I made a big deal about it lol.

I only think it's amazing because it's a R&C gif and I never see R&C gifs.

Sorry ya'll were set up for disappointment.

Yea, Su can be a frustrating individual because looking at what she accomplished with Zhaofu, it would have been ideal for her to attempt to restore the Earth kingdom.

I wouldn't have even minded if she, with Kuvira at her right hand, took down the monarchy permanently and put up a new system.

In fact, Su + Kuvira as the villains versus Korra + Lin would have been an incredible direction to take.

It would provide ample opportunities to further develop the Bei-Fong family dynamics; Toph would have been forced to play a greater role.

I was gonna make a futanari joke involving Kuvira decimating Jinorah, but then I'm like nah, too ecchi :3
Go through enough pages of the Rule 34 site and I'm pretty sure it's somewhere in there. Yeah I've stated a couple of times that Kuvira could've united the earth kingdom as Su's right hand with advisers, but others don't exactly agree on it. Pretty much I always held Su slightly accountable because she didn't want to do anything. There's definitely a bigger dynamic between those two that's never really expanded on. Su's practically her surrogate mother, but Su acts like Kuvira doesn't exist until Kuvira takes Bataar with her. That woman must have some mother issues that Kuvira.

Did you not get my PM?

Yeah at one point I looked at them all as the same person until I saw multiple people posting with the avatar at once. Apparently there was a bet or something.

I blame Toph's non-existent parenting for the negative traits in Su's character, but yea, I can only assume the comics will attempt to fill in the stuff that wasn't covered due to budget cuts.
What I don't understand is why the new announced comic series, Avatar: The Last Airbender - Smoke and Shadow, covering Aang's crew again.

The way in which the Bei-Fong mother-daughters dispute was handled in Book3 and 4 was less than ideal. The resolutions were simplistic and often painted the characters as simply
petty, rather than complex. In fact, in Book 3, when Lin was condescending about Su's new life and the size of her family, I assumed it was because of jealousy; that it was because she
didn't have a family of her own. Then I figured the most obvious reason she would show such contempt for her sister's family was perhaps because she couldn't have a family of her own; then
I immediately assumed she and Tenzen didn't get together was due to her inability to sire future Air benders. LOL that would have been great and made all her bitterness throughout the series
that much more relatable/sympathetic.

Missed opportunities EVERYWHERE in that arc.

Verendus trolled us all.

Book 2 was great because I felt fully satisfied of the progression of events as they played out; nothing was rushed and there was that
great little moment of intrigue when Jinorah did her thing at the end; I love it when shows do something inexplicable like that, as it
leaves the viewers to fill in with the most sensible explanation.

I find it to be lazy writing. Hated it. Hated that ending too. Only good thing about season 2 was beginnings.

Amon.

His Equalist ideals resonated with me, especially since I've read the preceding comics which shed light on the origin of the Equalist movement.
Though I think I can only fully appreciate Amon if you include Tarrlok because their characters seem to be 2 sides of the same coin.
Seriously, that double suicide at the end pretty much vaulted these guys near the top of my favourite fictional characters list.

I also don't like how they kind of paint Lin as one thing. I think she's crabby, but I don't exactly think she's crabby all the fucking time. I've said that Tenzin knew who Lin is since they grew up together and I do think Tenzin wanted the relationship as well. You don't get with a person you've known since you were kids without knowing who they are and what they go through unless you want to so I have a hard time believing that the relationship was bad or doomed to fail from the get go. Granted Lin probably did change a bit as a person and she probably didn't want a family or a large one given how she grew up with hers. Most likely didn't want to risk making the same mistakes Toph made, granted Lin isn't exactly like Toph though.
wait a minute here, I thought BK was only asking for Icy's gif. What the hell did you send him Jaded??
Kuvira and her dance partner after dark.

Oh THAT picture...yeah I seent it.

I thought it would be a different... pose. But I appreciate your speed, your ferocity, your tenacity to send that PM

I think they had planned 5 avatar comics a long time ago.

Don't quote me on that. I can't recall where I've read it.

What exactly was the bet? I've asked a few other people with the avatar what happened and they usually say something like this without going into detail lol

The PlayStation Experience event, they bet against Verendus on what is going to show up at the event.

A lot of them lost b/c of FF7 or Shenmue or TLG, one of the 3.

I'm a non-bending criminal. ;_;

Fear not brother, I am too. The days of the bourgeois benders are just over the horizon. It is the matter of history and the will of the common man that will we be the proceeding act on this stage of a world. Only a matter of time for the old actors to tire and the curtains that hovers beneath them ready to collide downwards. One simply needs to cut the rope, for the deed to be done and for the next act to follow.

I hate all of you. Kuvira doesn't get the respect she deserves. You people only care about her red nightwear. ;_;

Dude, you really need to watch Kill La Kill. Satsuki is like Kuvira but more awesome and a better character. Once you meet your true Queen, you won't care about what we do with the wannabe.

That and all the pervy fanart of Satsuki won't hit you as hard, since you'll be acclimatized to the show's fanservice. Really, to be more lewd with than the actual show, you'd have to draw straight up porn.

I respect Kuvi-bae tho. I just ship her with a lot of people not named Batarr Jr.
