Given what they showed in the future episodes(and the commentary), it's assumed GL makes the switch at some point.

They did. Warhawk is their son from the future. Shayera eventually finds out from Batman the full story (off-screen, of course). It's implied that they eventually get together, even though John sticks with Vixen. All four romance arcs in that show were well done.
-Batman and Wonder Woman
-Green Arrow and Black Canary
-The Question and The Huntress
-John Stewart, Hawkgirl, and Vixen.
I need a show to watch. ugh.
That or play Diablo 3 on my PS4 finally.

Truly the best romance series to date. None better.

The DC Animated Universe consists of: Batman The Animated Series, Superman The Animated Series, Batman Beyond, Static Shock, The Zeta Project, Justice League, and Justice League Unlimited.
Young Justice, Beware The Batman, The Batman, Green Lantern The Animated Series, Teen Titans, Teen Titans GO!, Superman and the Legion of Superheroes, and Batman The Brave and The Bold all take place in their own individual continuities. Though there are theories and speculation.
