Yeah, I did like 20 shrines and they were all one room affairs, then I dropped into this huge one and was very surprised. I've since seen several others. When shrines have
. What a motherfucker that was. Damn! I feel like I spent hours just on the damn boss battle! It was like Zelda Dark Souls. lol. Also, this temple in my opinion had one REALLY annoying puzzle that kept me going in circles for a LONG time in frustration. I'm curious if any of you had the same problem or if it was just me. I've never been stumped like this on a Zelda puzzle.
It took me an ETERNITY to figure out how to get into the map room because usually barred doors are unlocked when you solve a separate puzzle. In this case you had to manually open this entrance. I didn't realize until I happened to have the camera at a lower angle that the door to the map room didn't touch the ground. I used the Ice power in the water underneath it to finally open the damn gate.
When I finally got it I didn't know whether I should be mad at myself for not getting it sooner or that it was a cheap trick of a puzzle! Did you guys get stumped on this?
Taking pictures of birds and insects is frustratingly annoying. It seems basically an accident that some insect or bird glitches out and gets stuck on a rock or just freezes for unknown reasons and that's the only way I've been able to grab a shot.
On the one hand, I feel a little better that the rewards aren't all that great. On the other, it would be nice to have the option to unlock some of this stuff without having to buy a bunch of figures I don't want or need cluttering up my apartment.
Dunno if this is against the rules for self promotion or whatever but this is the first time I've ever done anything like this and wanna share it with my GAF friends.
My friend and I did a cover of the
Vah Ruta
battle theme! It came out okay despite my absolutely mediocre violin playing. He does a lot of other game songs too so check em out if you want. I, however, had to be goaded into it since 1) I'm too nervous to play instruments for a recording and 2) cannot put the damn game down.
It's raining in every cliff and I can't climb anything, I've went around so much of the mountain region trying to get further up but I can't. Am I missing something obvious? I can't get anywhere need the peak they're trying to tell me to go to.

1. Buy ten amiibo
2. Saw them off at the feet
3. Place amiibo bases in a tennis ball tube or a Pringle can for efficient storage
4. Drop divorced amiibo figurines one by one into a sewer grate
5. Don't tell a soul what you have done

Stupid door! I'm glad I wasn't the only one beating my head against a wall trying to figure this out. lol. Hopefully there aren't any more of these situations in the game. I'm all for challenging puzzles but that one was dirty!
This game has made me want all the Zelda amiibo, except the ones I'm missing are super expensive lol
Sheik, Toon Zelda and 8-Bit Link. Along with the Bokoblin, Bow Link and the Guardian. But the latter three are not hard to get, I just have no interest in them.
This is the first time I've enjoyed what the amiibo do.
I think I'm in the process of obtaining the map. I
plugged up the water hole. Activated that marker. Did I miss the map?im only on the third floor. One marker on the bottom. 1 marker on the second which I plugged up to activate. Now I'm on the third level with this massive wheel and stasis possible ball.

I just realized the only older amiibo I don't have is shiek. No big deal let me just head on over to Amazon..........nope nope nope nope. Kinda sucks they stuck an exclusive piece of gear behind an amiibo that is currently selling for $70

I had the same problem as well, old gaming conventions got the best of me. What's even worse is that once I thought about using the runes, I actually used stasis instead and whacked at it, providing a slim second of the gate raising open, just enough for me to slide in before it closed back.
It wasn't until I had to get back out that I realized crynosis was the obvious choice lol.

I'd like to point out a bug I was getting when doing similar
every time he approached me my arrows would go straight through him and there would be a blood moon which would reset the instance and remove him. turning the game on and off gets rid of this bug. just something to keep in mind.
I'm having a similar issue completing this quest even though I think I'm in the right place.
I see the Farosh Spirit flying around Lake Hylia at night but unsure how to get the scale from it. Anytime I get near it I'm nearly murdered by the electricity that comes off of it. Is there any particular place I need to stand? Or am I doing this whole thing wrong?
Oh I get it. I am very familiar with the formula. I had zero problems solving the other puzzles in a reasonable amount of time. The gotcha on this one is that
I ignored the barred door to the map room completely because literally every single time I encounter a barred door in Zelda something else opens said door!! I have never manually opened a barred entrance ever! Plus you REALLY have to be paying attention to notice there is a gap underneath to use ICE!
I stand by my opinion that this was a dirty rotten puzzle!

I got a saddle and bridle from my BOTW rider link amiibo, and it's in my inventory now. Do I have to equip those or something? Do they actually do anything?

Ya, I'm not an Amiibo guy but I've been jonesing for the Zelda amiibo because I love the randomized aspect of the loot :lol I'm a sucker for that stuff.
I'll probably just limit myself to the ones I have (Zelda BOTW and Guardian) and the 30th Anniversary 2-Pack though. No need to clutter up my house.
I would have noticed, since I thought the fire dragon was Valoo because he was literally flying over the Rito village. My first reaction was "oh, sweet redesign of Valoo, I wonder how he fits in the Rito story. And then I learned he doesn't really.
So I used Epona by accident on a rocky beach and got him (her?) stuck there. I didn't know it was one time use so I just moved on. Now that I've realized the error of my ways, I went back and Epona is gone. Is he gone for good? Did I mess up bad?
Will the horse fairy give me him back (I'm saving up 1000 rupees as we speak)?
Wow. I've been going through this whole game without knowing how to register a horse. I feel like there are so many things I'm completely clueless about in this game.
