I have 8 spirit orbs currently, and have upgraded my health once. Should I go all in on hearts, or upgrade my stamina? I'm still very early on.
Put it on stamina early on, hearts don't really do much early on as everything will either do low damage enough for your 3 hearts or do one shot even if you have more than 3 so having a middle ground doesn't do anything. Putting it on stamina will allow you to explore more and get access to a lot more locations.

Then later on you'll get the ability to reassign the points for a fee and you can put them back onto hearts if you feel like you need more health.

If I fast travel with my horse in the wild will it wait for me in the staples or do I have to pick it up again from where I left it?

Hang on, I have 8 hearts and I still wasn't able to
pull out the master sword without dying

Am I doing something wrong?

i still got 13 hearts to pull it out, i just respecced my heart container destribution into stamina after i got the sword and kept a couple of hearts to prevent 1 hit ko's but still keep the game challenging

What the fuck did I just find. Horse-related stuff. Spoilers maybe?
It has two heads and infinite sprint. Is this thing's existence explained anywhere?
dsfj15i.png

I have heard of this one.
It is based on the Blupees you can find in places, unfortunately you cannot register it.

I just randomly found it on
top of Satori Mountain (Hyrule Ridge). You'll recognize the spot by a glowing pillar of light.

Some dude somewhere talked to me about a
glowing beast on Satori Montain
. Probably in a stable.

Can anyone help with this please?

Does lighting all the lamps in H
ateno
do anything?

Yes..it's a quest/task or whatever.

Dont think do. They just serve as checkpoints for the main story quest, unless i have missed one.

Maybe I missed one too - I didn't do it on my way up there but I did it on the way back after the
pokemon snap
feature was added and nothing triggered. I remember a mention NOT to do it by the director, but no active quest or anything.

God damn it people, stop posting spoilers without tags. What the hell.

You can always call your horses to your location at any stable, it doesn't matter where it is. Or at least I haven't had a situation where I couldn't resummon my horse even after I had left it somewhere after quick teleporting away.

The horse stays where you left it, unless you go to a stable and call it there using their service.

Honestly I've rarely ever used a horse because anytime I feel like using one there isn't a stable around and the terrain is such that you'd have to leave your horse behind often unless you wanna take a long detour...defeating the purpose of having a horse.

I crossed Hyrule Bridge yesterday night. Suddenly music started playing. So I looked around and saw HOOOLYYYY SHEEEETTTT... so epic.

I watched it happen for a while and eventually it came nearer.
I was really scared and took some damage trying to get close to it.
So majestic...

I'm not talking about a thunderstorm.

Next time
shoot it with an arrow

Can someone tell me with a simple yes or no if the answer to the puzzle on
Lomei Laberynth Island
is to
carry the metal boxes to the center and place them inside the 6 pillars there?
Gotta know before I potentially spend hours on this...

There are also places named after stuff from Link's Awakening, Majora's Mask, Link Between Worlds and so on. Using the easter egg area names to determine timeline placement is not a good idea.

This game is clearly in the Downfall timeline.

Then there's the matter of Rito Village and the music being the Dragon Roost Island theme, directly calling back to Wind Waker; while some tunes stick through the entire franchise, like the Death Mountain theme or Epona's Song, that's quite a bit more specific. On top of that, the presence of the Rito at all, as they're absent from every other timeline, and explicitly exist as a result of a branch of the Zora population evolving to survive the era of the great sea. It can be assumed that some pocket populations of Zora still existed, and evolved independently.

How did Zora's come back? It was a forced evolution if I remember. Unless this is a different species on top of that the Master Sword should be in old Hyrule, not new. Sounds like some of these things are easter eggs.

Founder effect. Some Zora populations remained while others were separate and a driven by a need to evolve.
That's my theory, anyway. But the Rito couldn't exist without a Great Sea, and

I lit every lamp I could find but nothing happened. Makes the village look prettier, though.

It doesn't do anything, I didn't even notice it the first time around as I got lucky with weather. The entire reason those exist is do that you don't have to backtrack to the source if you accidently run, climb or pull out your sword or it starts to rain. Probably wouldn't need it as much if you could actually run with a torch.

That's me :D

Thanks for the tip though. I'll acquire it now.

Thank you for this. I basically searched for it the moment I reached zora's domain and even came back 2 seperate times after. Ive spent probably 5 hours looking for that lol

I will go there as soon as im home

Of course. That is the great thing about this game. Really crazy with the exploration and hidden things. Don't forget to take a picture of the Lynel and give it to that one Zora for the greaves.

I have done all of the
Labiryth
s without using any runes, you can just solve them by using the classic
hug a wall maze trick.

This are some of the best moments for me!!!!

I actually witnessed the same thing but near the "first" village
after a sidequest

So I'm close to 30 hrs in the game and I still haven't done any dungeon. I'm at I believe 31 shrines in though and with the weapons I have already I'm starting to feel kind of OP. My main concern: Am I going to get my shit kicked in by doing any of the dungeons? Should I do dungeons now before they become laughably easy?

This game is so distracting and whenever I tell myself I'm going to go do one, I find a shrine, then a tower, then another shrine, a korok puzzle. "Oh what's that over there? A VILLAGE"

and repeat.

Pls halp.

Had the same experience today! Hope you got the 'thing' from it ;)

Ah okay thank you, I wonder what SweetDonuts was on about then.

Was going to spend another half an hour looking for that last one to light. Cheers!

Don't simply put a block of spoilers and label it "spoiler", no one will read it. You need to label it as "minor or major spoiler regarding X".

I've done about as many shrines as you, but also two of the dungeons. The dungeons are more puzzle oriented than combat oriented. They're like super-sized shrines, more than anything. So, the actual challenge won't be affected by your combat prowess too significantly, until you get to the boss. And, to be honest, none of the bosses have been a challenge for me.

Well, the dungeons have
basically no combat in them anyway, they're large puzzle rooms
. So you'll be fine. But you may have trivialized the bosses.

I thought the bosses were great, and all of them put up a fight. I fought them at 3, 4, 5 and 8 hearts though, and I played without using food.

Dungeons
are basically puzzles with little to no combat except boss fight
and they aren't really hard, since they can be tackled in any order they have an even difficulty level and I did one dungeon with like 6 hearts and avg weapons while the others with 13 hearts, master sword, various arrows and powerful shield.

I didn't really feel that much of a difference difficulty wise as 99% of it is just figuring things out.

So I decided to check out what those octo balloons do. I attached one to a stone and it flew away, lol. Cool stuff. But for what would you use this? It's cool to see how it can make things float, but why? :)

I feel like one of the best ways of having a constant amount of arrows is to allow bow enemies to shoot at you for a bit while running around dodging them and then collect all the arrows from the ground!
Also, if you block arrows with a wooden shield they'll get stuck in it and when you put your shield away you'll get those arrows.

I'm annoyed enemies have infinite supplies of arrows. One of the few things as far as enemy interactions go that break or ignore player restrictions.

They're all really fun, dynamic fights! Definitely not criticizing them. It's just that I've got about 10 hearts now and just fought
Windblight Ganon
. I had eaten an Attack + dish for the fight, and he only ever knocked about 4 hearts off my health through the whole fight.
