The next Zelda - Which heroes and villains would you want?

I want a Link, at the very least a Zelda mentioned, and I won't be too broken up if they don't have a Ganon.

Oh and Tingle, gotta have that guy. It's been too long.

I don't really care as I will take what they make, just as long they don't have voice acting or make Zelda playable, already did that in Spirit Track and she was awesome in there.

I also wouldn't mind if the main villain female.

I want a female Link.

But I don't want to play as a female Link, when I play Zelda I role-play as Link and playing as a girl shatters that.

Unless Nintendo pulls a Pokémon and have the game ask you are you a girl or a boy and boom you play as either a female or Male Link depending on your choice.

Definitely Ravi.

Oh god no, I hated him and his renting item system.

Old Link might be cool.

That is the worse thing that I have ever seen in my life.

This so much, it was nice seeing again in Windwaker HD.

15-year-old Link, Wind Waker Ganondorf. Post-Spirit-Tracks. Link pulls the Master Sword from the side of a mountain, Ganondorf busts out. Ganondorf is still after sunken old Hyrule, which exists in tandem with new Hyrule, providing dual-world mechanics. Travel to old Hyrule, with kind of a Shadow of the Collossus non-linear feel and design, to unearth artifacts and legends. Land is populated only by spirits and monsters. Can revisit some neat OOT places in various states of decay. Most dungeons you find there. Interact with towns and NPCs in new Hyrule.

Oh man, now I'm going to be dissapointed when this isn't the case, it would be amazing. Old Hyrule is my favorite place in any Zelda game, even if we were barely there. I'd love to explore it further.

A Zelda without Ganon would actually be refreshing. But then that would require Nintendo to put effort into making an interesting villain.

Playable Link Zelda and Ganondorf (multplayer mode?)
Majora returns.
Fleshed out Dark Link
Open world as in Link Between Worlds

I'd settle for Hylian voice acting like Midna.

Sup Ghirahim.

They did that with the last 3D zelda game. Ghirahim was a very interesting villain.

Sorry, i don't think a villain that shows up for one fight can be considered the main villain of a game. Demise was just a boss fight, Ghirahim was the villain.

Edit: beaten

Zelda as the lead who fights to reclaim her throne. I want the final shot to be Zelda on her throne with the master sword, King Conan style.

i want to play as a link that's from the gerudo tribe (ganon's clan). and hold power and courage, even though i have no idea what these individual pieces of the triforce does even.

After playing Soul Calibur 2 in which Link was a playable character, I wouldn't mind seeing Nightmare make a guest appearance as the next villian, in the next Zelda game. I'm in the minority on this, but it would be different somewhat.

+ Don't let Zelda get kidnapped
+ Adult Link
+ More humanoid monster boss enemies
+ Generally more new types of normal enemies

Link, Ganondorf and Zelda. I don't really like Ganon as a character, I prefer the more human one. And more epic sword battles with Ganondorf please.

Ganon hasn't had a real role in a Zelda in seven years. All four Zeldas released since Twilight Princess have had new main villains.

Maybe take the Resident Evil approach, and have a drop-in co-op mode where the computer controls Zelda until another player takes over. It opens up a lot of puzzle opportunities.

Villain doesn't have to be Ganon. He's the arch-villain, but sitting out an entry every now and then hasn't hurt Zelda. Won't be sad if he is the villain, though. I like how they handled him in Twilight Princess and Wind Waker.

Zaant was the main villain in TP, Ganon was just the final boss in what equates to a cameo,
much like Ghirahim/Demise in SS
.
All in all, I think it would've been a better story if they hadn't shoehorned Ganon into the last act. It had a cool vibe going with the harnessing of ancient magics.

Crossover with Final Fantasy. have Lightning be the love interest and the villain and ultimately the hero.

In one universe, Ganondorf has succeeded in destroying Hyrule. In a bid to avoid this fate, Zelda is sent back in time to warn the King of Hyrule about the future threat of the Gerudo and Ganondorf seeking the Triforce. This leads to an unprovoked attack on the Gerudo nomads and leaves them mostly decimated, with a young Ganondorf as one of the few survivors who escapes. The King, with his newfound knowledge of the Triforce begins to covet its power and corrupts Zelda and Link to his side as he begins a search for the Triforce of Power. After years of hiding, and witnessing the suffering of the people under the iron-fist rule of a power-hungry king, he will journey around Hyrule to defeat the seven Sages to take their magic until he has the power to breach Hyrule Castle, defeat Link and Zelda and kill (exile?) the King.

This will never happen

I want teen Link and hot Zelda. I don't care for any of the rest of the cast.

Wait, hot fairy queen would be nice too.

Adult Link and a new villain, set after Minish Cap but before Ocarina of Time.

So basically, you want a Zelda game that is not a Zelda game. Gotcha.

An adult link more on the masculine side for once, without the female cat features and without the Japanese voice. No Ganon, Zelda or Triforce in sight. A tale that does not try to fit into the new Zelda continuity.

Played many a Zelda game before they tried to force them all into a convoluted timeline recently. There have been many Links without female cat features and a japanese voice.
I know of at least two popular Zelda's that don't involve the Gannon, Zelda or the Triforce, MM and LA. So I don't see the problem.

Maybe not main antagonist, but I think it would actually be cool, if for a portion of the next Zelda game, Zelda was your enemy for an extended period of time. And after defeating her (she'd fight you as Shiek) she joins your side as a playable character to access certain dungeons.

I'd enjoy that a lot.
