what a fucking perfect chapter, the other guys in team Fukuda were jealous of Eiji, but it really show what a guy Eiji is, to be doing 2 mangas at once. I also think the relation ship between Otter's mangaka and his editor is so funny, it's like the editor is his god.
God's Beard said:Bakuman
Everybody bitching about Eiji kinda pissed me off, but otherwise awesome chapter.
That was sort of what I'm saying. It's just too similar to Aoki for my tastes. You just know the "defrosting the Ice Queen" arc is coming, even though we already had it with Aoki. Although my guess, she'll get taken down a few notches by having some kind of dispute with Eiji over the direction of her series.Kave_Man said:Agreed. I was reading it thinking "man up the lot of you, stop bitching about Eiji getting another series, improve your own shit"
As for Iwase, her sexual frustration towards Shujin is getting to extreme levels. I hope they never end up in the same room alone.
I would hate for this arc to be the one where Eiji discovers he has hormones. Who the fuck knows what he'd do. (Does he have hormones? :lol )Angry Grimace said:That was sort of what I'm saying. I really would like to think it would never happen, but then again, Ohba DID give us Near and Mello.Jayge said:I would hate for this arc to be the one where Eiji discovers he has hormones. Who the fuck knows what he'd do. (Does he have hormones? :lol )
I have a suspicion that Miyoshi's parents are pretty much just like Miyoshi. But maybe not. It seems like "stern" parents are exactly the type that Takagi would easily impress anyways since he was already a genius outside of manga. Miyoshi is still a better character than that stupid chick that won't talk to Mashiro unless they get married for some stupid ass reason which makes no sense at all.neoanarch said:Naruto
Pick another theme Kishi how many Sasuke/naruto type bromances can you have in one series?
Bakuman
Eiji and Otters are the best thing about the series right now. Hopefully meeting the parents doesn't turn into some shitty drama arc.
HxH
Seeing Gon intimidate one of the guards is fucking epic. Inexperience on the part of Pitou could be his/her downfall.

I dunno, maybe that parts where he murdered Naruto's frog summoner, stole Tsunade's job and plucked the eyeball out of a drowned corpse and stuck it in his own eye socket.Pandaman said:of course, why would you think he's a bad guy?

I'll join the RB thread when Harmonix decides to update with some music instead of advertDLC and bullshit country packs. So basically, you've got nothing to worry about.
The reason I mentioned that was because the purpose of all the captains attacking was to show Ichigo a weak spot that Aizen may have and if this attack was actually successful, maybe it'll be the right time for Ichigo to go in and strike.Dedication Through Light said:Does Ichigo need to go in? Couldnt he just fire off dozes of Getsuga Tenshou's? I guess its feasible but unlikely. The only way I even see Ichigo doing some type of damage is if he went into that second (resurrecion, I guess) form again.

I always considered him the evil-wants power dictator. I'm actually kinda shocked. On the other hand, I also still considered Sasuke the "good" guy (Karin is still alive, he would have never killed his true love on purpose).Pandaman said:of course, why would you think he's a bad guy?

both for the good of the ninja world, he wouldn't have done it if Tsunade was competent and that uchiha, i mean wtf did he expect when he went and died like a bitch.stole Tsunade's job and plucked the eyeball out of a drowned corpse and stuck it in his own eye socket.

Sasuke on the other hand, is more of a tragic hero (see: Tragic Hero wiki).
That's an awful Photoshop man. Besides, the S for Sosuke was just fine.

and? is he supposed to score points because his killer was overqualified? the guy had the power to say 'hey itachi, please dont kill me' ad it would have worked. the fact that he didn't use it probably means itachi curbstomped him.Angry Grimace said:He got murdered by Itachi. if kishi is to be consistant, No.Here's an interesting scenario; now that Danzo is dead, does this mean Sai ha the tongue-seal removed?

what the fuck, I just finished Greed Island, Fucking Fantastic by the way, but what the hell happened to the art around the end of Green Island and currently where I am right now ( chapter 180 ) it's just fucking sketches, does he have any assistants or does his wife help him out ( Mangaka of Sailor moon )?

Pimpwerx said:Naruto: Kishi did a good job of building Danzou into the noble, but extreme ninja from the old era. I just wish he was developed earlier. Sakura is more boring than Sasuke. I'd rather have Madara storytime hour over anything even remotely Sakura-related. Seriously, she's irrelevant, except as bait for Naruto or Sasuke. Bring back Naruto already.
This is the worst, and one of the most horrible things Kishi has done in Part 2. Almost all of the characters he built up (especially the villains), he only gives their motivations and back-story (if we're lucky) at the very very end in a flashback. It's pretty much his plot device for saying "I had no fucking clue what I was writing and where I wanted to take this character". :rolleyesEpcott said:I have to agree with this. If only they had told Danzou's little touching back-story earlier (maybe in bits and pieces), like right before the ninja council meeting? I know there was an intent to make him into such a secretive weasel only to show that deep down he was human...
but...
when you kill a character, and moments before his death, you give a sad sob story as to why he did what he did... it's pretty hard to swallow, and makes pacing feel forced. I mean, it's so cliche, but then again this is shonen :lol

Anywho... I'm not looking forward to next weeks boring chapter. Sai "my new teammates totally hates meh now were buddies and i just stand around and talk" VS "I'm more of a burden and a liability than a teammate" Sakura.
Yay... I wonder if it'll be like watching a Slowpoke fighting a Snorlax... or a mop fighting a swifter? pass
