I'm currently on Chapter 6-3, fighting what I presume is the end boss. Problem is, I accidentally saved my progress with absolutely no ammo or money. I'm screwed, aren't I?

I started New Game+ on Veteran difficulty, except I forgot to select new costumes. Is there anyway I can start over again with the costumes? Seems stupid if I can't.

kamorra just wanted to get easter started a bit early this year.
So i finaly played this game and I have to say the controls are utter crap. Its either the controls or I seriously suck at this game. I struggled playing this game by myself on the easiest setting, but the co-op if fucking awesome. This game feels completely different when you play it with a buddy. I really like this game although I think the controls are horrible. It is such a blast playing co-op. I'm glad I gave this game another shot its easily worth 60$.

Both Chris and Sheva have such crappy weapons so it's pretty tough to keep up a decent combo, and I have no damn idea how to take out the Executioner. And this is only the first damn level? Can anyone else not get the Topaz (Oval)? I've tried like 8 times and it doesn't work for me. I've tried this guys method and the stuff on Gamefaqs and nothing works.

Climb the crow's nest. Do not snipe either guy on the crane just to be safe. But look to the lower right of the crane. You should see a soldier minding his own business. This is on the path to the crane and you need a key to get there. Anyway snipe his face off. He should drop the treasure. Now continue on the level and once you get the crane key, go there and collect it.

Grimm it didn't work. I tried not shooting anyone on the crane, shooting the guy on the lower level, etc. I gave Sheva a pea shooter just to make sure she isn't shooting anyone either and nothing. Does the Topaz drop in the same spot in that video i linked?

I finished my first run through the game last night, on single player.

Sheva is the dumbest piece of shit AI I've ever had to escort in a 10 fucking hour game...ever. Please stop: stealing my ammo, unloading all of said ammo into my back, standing completely still right in front of enemies that can one-hit kill your dumb ass, ignoring grenades in your inventory once you've run out of ammo, using the wrong weapon in a given situation, and talking to me like I'm an idiot. And the streamlining concessions made to make it co op friendly were very noticable and very disappointing.
After RE4, these boss fights don't even come close to cutting it, Capcom.
I enjoyed the fan service story for what it was. But it in no way lived up to my expectations of the final confrontation with Wesker. I feel kinda empty, and wishing all the more that I could have played the original version of this story in RE3.5 if the trailers where anything to go by (

I kind of feel like how I did after playing Devil May Cry 2. While RE5 very obviously won't kill the franchise like DMC2 almost did, it feels dead to me.

A machine gun fight with an El Gigante? Lazy. Two fights with that crappy bat BOW? Stupid lazy. Three fights with Uroboros? Are you kidding? And none of them were fun, while almost all of RE4's bosses were. And I can't be the only one that went from delighted to see the Licker return, to groaning when yet another horde of them showed up.

I got it. Here is what i had to do. First of all i didn't realize there were 2 guys standing on TOP of the crane. Dumbass i know. I only saw the guy to the far left. So what i had to do was shoot the guy standing on top of the crane on the right side and then shoot the guy standing on the platform under the crane operator. I did not shoot the crane operator like you said. But all this time i was shooting the wrong people. Thanks for the help.
