C'mon, guys.. it's not like we didn't buy SF2:WW, then CE+HF and then SSF2 when they were on SNES.

if you dont own sf4, you buy the disc.
if you do own sf4 on 360 w/ no harddrive, buy the disc.
if you have pc/ps3/360 w/ harddrives buy the $30 DLC.

He doesn't suck he's just pales in comparison to third strike ken. Ken is a pretty solid character.

He doesn't suck... But he is definitely the weakest shoto and not over powered in the least. He has a couple issues... Like he can't combo into his full ultra unless it is off a counter hit srk etc. And he has like two setups into ultra, while Ryu has about a billion. His kara though is sick though, and he has a pretty good pressure game.

Well, now they're pretty much all moved on to ryu once they learned you can anti-air shoryu into ultra.

PC crowd is the worst by a mile though, probably 90% ryu.

I agree, he's a pretty well rounded character, but the range on that ultra is fucking ridiculous. I don't think I've hit that ultra once. Another logical reason to switch over to Ryu I suppose.

Every time I see someone post this about this subject and the same for BB, I feel the need to point out that that was back in the cartridge days when we didn't have the availability of HDDs and internet connections to update the data to the newer version. A new cart was a matter of necessity.

Every time I see someone post this about this subject and the same for BB, I feel the need to point out that that was back in the cartridge days when we didn't have the availability of HDDs and internet connections to update the data to the newer version. A new cart was a matter of necessity.

With the exception of the SF2 -> SF2:CE -> SF2T upgrades, the Street Fighter instalments have never been exactly incremental, and far beyond something that can just be patched in. We're talking several new characters, new stages, new music, new artwork, etc etc. For example just the difference between SFA1 and SFA2 is enough to fill an entire game.
