Well I dunno, i mean I just platinumed the original game and I loved it.. I liked it when it launched but was distracted by destiny so I had just buzzed thru it.

These characters do indeed suck but remember there's gonna be most likely many perks to play solo, fuck these dei trash bags.. If the game tho at least has some good exploration and what not I'll still happily play it. Just yea im so sick of games having characters that look like this, beyond ridiculous.

I'm having a bit of a laugh, but if I remember correctly, Expedition 33 was on Gamepass and NOT made by Microsoft? I don't consider it a gamepass game and I would be certain that the sequel to E33 will not be day and date on gamepass.

One special note to the one that looked like a soldier and Im sure I wasnt the only one thinking it was the best looking one, but then they "highlighted it" and it was probably the typical "old" man against their old employees, and his cool uniform was nowhere to be seen. Avowed was totally fine. Not the best party members ever but its a great game.

Going by this trailer Avowed should be awarded for their awesome and inspiring party members.

I'm actually amazed at how boring and uninspiring these designs are. I don't even understand how you can reach this level of blandness. They're certainly not using AI because no AI would spit out something like this. There is no target audience for this. Obsidian better have something else up their sleeves or jobs will be cut.

I'll play it because it's free on Gamepass, wouldn't pay for this. And I actually liked the first game.

They either delay it and redesign characters. Or the game will flop. There is no other way. A multiplat day 1 release won't save this.

They know exactly it's a turd, but nobody wants to rock the boat. Nobody wants to be accused of being negative. Outer Worlds was extremely mid but decision to green light it was probably taken when Microsoft was as always criticised for not delivering exclusive games, and they had to show something. Know how is there, budget is not huge, don't need a lot of pre-production. The very definition of AA. But this is Microsoft, a company that is never satisfied with AA, so they bill this as AAA and charge accordingly.

You know that scene in Indiana Jones where he shows something shit trinkets to Henry and the dean goes: "Yes, the university will buy them without too many questions"? This is exactly the case here, either way they will use Game Pass to obfuscate how much the game bombed.
