Emulation is legal, illegal ROMs or BIOS are not.

Emulation is legal so long as the emulator in question was developed via a "clean room" design, and your roms and BIOS were dumped from your own personal belongings.

Well it depends on the countries laws I know where I live emulators are legal but roms aren't. So you can rip your own games but not download roms hencewhy emulators aren't illegal.

That's basically what I was saying, emulators aren't illegal because you are free to rip your games and play them on whetever your emulator is on.But downloading roms is illegal because most of them haven't already fallen in public domain.I am not sure though about downloading roms for games you own I need to check if there is a precedent.

What if I wrote an article stating the Nintendo Switch sucks? I wouldn't be wrong. I own a Switch. I like Switch. As a piece of hardware, it does some things really well and others it flat out sucks. In general, it sucks.

I feel the same way about Playstation and have all the way back to PS3.

I come for the games, though. Games are mostly what matters as long as the hardware enables them to be made.

Some of those are true and some are just opinions. Whether it is click bait is an opinion as well, but I think it is. Just as I would an article that said Xbox Series X or S sucks.

The points are valid but saying it sucks is not valid, and is clickbait. Furthermore, the headline carries the burden of summarizing and providing the tone for the entire article. He undermined all his own valid points with a horrible headline.
