Having to stop playing to get to bed so I can go to work and not play the whole day tomorrow is some bullshit. Anyone want to call in some bomb threats to my office for me? I can pay you with 7 broken rakes, 4 ladles, a rope ladder, 11 pipes and 37 candles.

Ok, so this is pretty weird.
I'm finishing multiple side quests and main quests (currently in Novigrad), and I'm not gaining any experience anymore. Is it possible that some quests do not give any rewards?
Yeah I did several quests in Novigrad today but they yielded very little exp or no exp at all. Been stuck at lv.14 for a while now which is pretty annoying.
Some quests don't give XP, no, but it's not like it really matters. This isn't a power-leveling grindfest type of RPG and you're not supposed to be gaining levels every 20 minutes.

Bestiary: Make sure you don't fight nightwraiths at night!

Boy, sure am glad the game only lets me fight her at night. Level 10, using yrden and specter oil and still this Jenny fight is rough.

Use the bomb mentioned in the beastary. If you hit her with it you deal full DMG. Then use QUEN and just rush her down.

I've noticed that it grows back faster if you faster travel between areas like Velen and White Orchard.

TW2 Spoilers:

So TW2 ending in which everyone goes crazy in Loc Muinn and starts lynching all the mages is canon? That ending only happened if you decided to not help Triss but instead Vernon or Iorveth. Cause the save file which I imported I did save Triss and there was no crazy mob lynching mages in the epilogue yet in TW3 there are witch hunters everywhere who love to burn mages.

There must be a variant where that does happen.
I saved Triss and the mages were getting lynched at the end of TW2 for me. Had an entire conversation about a mage who was raped that stands out to me from the ending.

on X1 - my controller does a hard vibrate for seemingly no reason sometimes. It's annoying. This is not when there is something I need to use Witcher senses for - it just seems like it's random.

Damn, I feel sad that my
nemesis, whom I first met at Crow's Perch
ended up headless. I wanted to see more of his antics.

Welp, I have a ton of money, no quests.

Time to go to the brothel and plough about a thousand times.

Sooo yeah... as I was doing this, I came across the most incredible moment.

Hard vibrate is likely Quen wearing off. A light vibrate is witcher sense clue.

That's your
Witcher Amulet alerting you to the nearby presence of magic
.

I don't have the diagram for it.

And I can't dodge too much because then I can't cast yrden, and if I only sidestep I'm still in her attack range.

And of course if you take more than 5 seconds to kill the 3 other wraiths she summons, she's back at full health. This is awful.

Red circles are enemies; red circles with X's through them are lootable dead enemies. Red arrows appearing above or below a symbol mean that it's above or below your current elevation. You're probably just seeing red arrows above herb symbols.

Turns out you're right. Red is a BAD color to choose for those arrows. At 10" away on console you can't tell they are arrows.

It also vibrates when you run out of stamina and again when it's replenished, maybe it's that.

True, but I've had red lv.20 quests in my quest log for ages now which I really want to complete :p

The trophy needs level 35.

I'm level 24 with only the main quest left and a few high level witch contracts. I dunno man. I don't think the main quests after Skellige will give me 10 levels.

No crazy mob right then maybe, but the world of Witcher really has no reason to trust mages given their history. They had too many chances and kept making secret organizations. Radovid is done with that shit

There's a bomb that disables their special ability especially Jenny's self healing abilities. You could kill the mini boss without her using said ability

I don't even know why I click on the spoiler. But that's such a wrong way to use spoiler tags.

what do you want him to do draw you a map so you know where he is ? dont click on a spoiler if you havent finished the game its that easy.

You can go back. Don't know about the point of interests because I've cleared them all before moving to the next area :p

So I read this in the other thread but never came back to confirm. Is there a point where playing and winning in GWENT is obligatory to progress the story?

Anyone else have it where after meditating, for no reason at all when you back out of the menu it always says "You cannot do this at this time."

Wow, so the Yennifer/Skellige main quest is dead short, that was weird. It was like
okay, she's not here! Back to Novigrad!
but I guess there's the whole Heir to the throne storyline.

Dunno if you beat Jenny already, but stay away from the summons, you don't need to kill them. If you roll away far enough the clones will disappear and she will be left with the same health.
