Guys I really need your help, this merchant in the cage still bug for me on PS4.
I just want to know is he will be selling any Gwent card?? Thank you. :((

Nah, he parks himself by the redanian crossing northwest there, and sells junk. Also he bugs out on you and you cant access his inventory anymore (well I cant).

Keep reloading in the area until both the merchant spawns inside the cage with the deserter leader nearby. Or load an earlier save.

I couldn't find him after the rescue.

Any list of side quests that are don't miss, or conversely quests you can skip because they amount to nothing interesting? I over leveled before getting to Skellige and I'm not sure which ones I should do even though I won't be getting xp for a number of them. One must do quest involves alchemy mastery, plus the two quests involving that guy's kids
lord of undvik and possession
.

The latter two were some of the better quests for me and I think they lead to further very enjoyable stuff. Lord of Undvik isn't maybe particularly interesting plotwise (though I kind of did things out of supposed order and don't think I got all the dialogue) but it takes place in really beautiful place. The cerys one is also good though it's mostly talky stuff.

Dandelion optional questline would be one of my picks for obligatory stuff to do.

No, seriously, I keep taking boats for fast travel to Oxenfurt to sell stuff off, and my boats are tangled up now. Guess I gotta go line up my boat fleet, hell might make a bridge out of em.
Hmm, I wonder if you could just demolish and sink them all with a bomb.

Finished the quest with Whoreson Junior.
Killed his ass.
It's one of the few times in this series where
I can't think of a legitimate reason not to.

I really think the choice is there just to fuck with you. When most of the game is so grey, getting one clear decision like this messes with your mind

Game: Did you
kill Whoreson? Worst ending.
:)

Sub Zero

his body's cold as ice, but he's got a heart of gold
Does the XP bug affect all main quests or just a select few?

Did two of the main Novigrad quests (
Pyres of Novigrad
and
Find Junior
) and got 0 XP. Wondering if I should put the game on hold until CDPR fixes this. I am currently level 16 and have cleared all the Velen map and all sidequests within my level range. The Novigrad main quests are the only ones that are left for me right now

This is honestly the worst kind of bug that has occurred to me in an RPG

Agree completly!
Geralt was all like "I'm going to kill you because you tried to hurt Ciri." And I was like "What? no! I'm going to kill you because you're a fucking massmurdering maniac!"

I am going to try and link something from Minus on the PS4 browser but not sure if it will work. Stupid browser can't even full screen a minus pic. So weird.

Best looking armor I've come across. The Redanian Halbedier's Armor
Thanks for loading it up :) always have a interest in fresh looking armor. Damn you FashionSouls!

"The Ghost in the Tree" is still one of my most memorable TW3 moments, just because the game is basically DARING you.

Is there like a mod to revert back a quest? I have only this savegame, the quest bugged and now I don't know what to do, on CDPR forum there are zero replies for this bug.

Just revert to an earlier sa.......

....oh.

Well now you know what not to do going forward. CD Projekt Red games are many things, but "jank-free" is not one of them. Having multiple rolling saves is just good insurance.

But there might be a way with cheat engine or something. Certainly will be once the modding tools are released, but no idea when we'll finally get those.

Already LTTP it feels like, but I just started playing this. I only played Witcher 2 for like three hours before shelving it because I hated it. Boy does this game get off to a much better start. Really digging the atmosphere this time around, and the combat also feels much more fluid (though the game still piles too much on you from the outset, in my opinion). Two pet peeves though. The screen text, hoo boy I don't like leaning forward and squinting. But above all why can't I pause / freeze during cutscenes? Ugh I haaate when games keep playing the cutscene when you press the Playstation home button. Is there another way to pause? I have a little baby that constantly needs attention.

Yeah, you're deciding on his life while a dead hooker's feet are dangling from the ceiling behind you...

Loving this game.

Monsters approach, coming at me 3 strong, blizzard hits, stifling some of their visibility. I attack, my attacks don't hit as hard as their's but it's enough to make them think. They have a guy in the back shooting at me. I take some hits, but I attack back hitting them from long range. Closing the distance, I hit harder than ever. Attack after attack until the enemy gives up, finishing the fight and winning.

I hear there's a game aside from GWENT. Should be fun to check out.

Yeah I totally did it. As soon as I did I was like oh shit what have I done lol. Great moment, in other games I may have reloaded my save and undone it but I was like screw it let's see where this takes us.

One of the missions where i had no idea what i wanted to do.
Until the end i got all the parts for the ritual, was about to start it and tricked it and killed it. I don't regret anything. Even when the crones are worse. I hope i get a chance to get back to them later.

what in the fuck does this mean

near endgame romance spoilers
Yen and Triss said to head to a room at night for a threesome. they cuffed Geralt and left. the hell, man. does this mean I fucked up and I won't get either of them. shit, I don't even want Yen. I want Triss

I'm being screwed out of Triss because I wanted to see Yen's sex scenes? fuck

Yes
Mean's you were a cheating scumbag.

I chose t
he ritual
option at first, but then I died
and didn't want to be bothered with the fetch quest again. So I just killed the heart.

So in the end, if you let the heart live and revive it, it becomes just as shit as the crones? or what happens?

So just how much is Zoltan involved? Loved him in the books and games and have only seen a couple screenshots. Going to start tonight finally.

Novigrad including its outskirts is about the size of White Orchard on its own lol

And yeah you can go anywhere although there are some higher level enemies in certain locations.

My god. So Novigrad is bigger than Velen or are they about the same? Looks like im about to put it some serious work!

Kind of, though I think there's more to do in Velen. Still, they're actually one giant area. Not sure why the world map screen makes it look like 2 areas, but there is no loading between the two. Once you get past WO the only time you have to load is for story cutscenes (sometimes) and travel between Velen/Novigrad and Skellige.

Novigrad is part of the same map. The map is just so big that it has been broken into 2 seamless regions. But yeah it's ridiculously large. And I hear Skellige is pretty insane too.
