Question about Poisoned Blades: Does the poisoning chance activate from having any type of oil and attacking any type of enemy, or only when attacking an enemy with a weapon coated in the oil they are vulnerable against?

Enhanced hybrid oil, enhanced thunderbolt, lots of quen, 2-3 fast blows then evade repeat till dead. Had an epic 15 mins fight at lvl 20 starting at dawn with the sun coming up that hill by the time it was almost dead. Fuckin love this game, best rpg I've ever played.

This game is HUGE! I have 53 hours clocked in and haven't been to Skellige yet. Been busy doing the side stuff and trying to get every gwent cards I can for the areas I'm in.

Gwent could be a standalone game.....and I'd gladly throw money at it.

Yeah. I use the same strategy but all it takes is that one wing flap to hit after breaking Quen and RIP.

Still have Skellige to explore but so far Bloody Baron and Dijkstra have some of the best writing for an rpg character. And that voice acting holy shit.

I went to Skellige just to retrieve my ursine armor set and progressed a small chunk of story quest, then went back to Velen/Novigrad. Still have lots of things to do in Velen and Novigrad.
I haven't done any of the side quests and contracts in Novigrad. There are plenty of them.
I don't want this game to end.

The humor in the game is surprisingly well done (first Witcher game for me). So many fun moments. Just witnessed a particularly absurd scene involving alcohol.

For the XP bug? It'll be next week at the earliest due to certification. The PC version's patch isn't even out yet, which means the patch itself isn't finalised yet.
