So I'm an idiot.

I didn't realize the sets of skills tied to the mutagens ALL worked at the same time. I assumed it was like loadouts of 3 skills that you could choose between.

Whoops.

"Real" Geralt has always been a pretty shitty Witcher in that way too. He just uses it as a shield for the times when he doesnt want to get involved.

Yeah, he's always gets his nose in other people's shit, and falls back on the "Witcher neutrality" when he feels too pressured. Eskel for example is a true Witcher, but far less interesting than Geralt as a result, lol.

Also finally Mastered all armour and weapons. Probably stick with Feline. Now to hit level 40 and use the highest rated sword from Kaer Morhen.

Man, that Griffin armor makes Geralt look fat haha.

Hold up. Oils aren't one-time use consumables? Goddammit.

Neither are potions or mutagens. All re-fill after you meditate, at the expense of one alcohol.

I was saving up everything for my first six hours or so assuming they were one-shots like Witcher 1 and 2. Very nice modification to the resource system in my opinion, letting me feel free to use the tools of the trade more liberally.

  • Trophies are useless after you get reward for killing the monster. Hold on to human and monster XP ones if you want to swap between, I just keep cool looking monster XP.
  • Armor and weapons that isn't upgrade or part of Witcher set can be sold.
  • Stuff from last tab should be sold.
  • Read books and then sell all books and contract (and such) papers.
  • Crafting mats; Hold on to the flawless gems and with stuff that you start to get a lot (e.g. timber) make own artificial cap at maybe ~30-40
  • Runes; 9 lesser ones is max, greater ones if weapon I would max out at 2 to 4 and for armor at 2 or 3

Some of the rarer stuff from the last tab should be used to dismantle instead of sell, and just to add to the trophies: you can sell them for full price in the church east of Novigrad.

whats a good playlist on spotify to play this with?

Lol, really? Why would you?

Is this a fiend or some trolololo cow avenger ?

Finally got my hands on the the mix of bear armor and stopped looking like a fatty clown. I'm not sure why but post Kaer Morhen spoilers,
After Imlerith mission, while doing sidequests, the followed quest randomly switches to the main one, "Talk with Triss, Yen Avallach" for no reason.

Also, RE: Nekker Hearts

Infinite Nekker Heart glitch (probably well known, but sharing just in case).

Destroy a nekker nest, loot what you need but make sure to leave one item.
Meditate for an hour.
All items respawn.

Can do this to collect infinite Hearts. Saves farming if you need them specifically.

That looked way too easy though. Seems kinda OP.

It is. It's actually a move meant to use for crowd control, going from the description, and while it does that just fine it's just incredibly effective against some bosses. Just took down a fiend boss in a similar matter. Set 'em on fire and go to town. I tried upping the difficulty and it's just as easy, just need to roll around a bit longer. :lol

I've heard people mention going back to Kaer Moren, does that happen as part of the main quest?

Also, it's taken a while but I'm finally getting into gwent! I was rolling my eyes that they put in some TCG minigame in during the tutorial but it's actually pretty fun and strategic once you have a good collection of cards.

I've found a certain red aurad body that respawns it's items as well if you leave one. Haven't checked others yet. I have a ton of keys now.

:lol I love it. Whirl is amazing, normal enemies stand no chance. Their little stamina bars get completely obliterated by the onslaught. I just destroyed a level 26 rock troll at level 20 by spamming Whirl right into his face.
