You have to be quick to kill her 3 apparitions that appear from time to time, do that and she won't gain much back. Just spam Yrden and draw her in, also be sure to apply quen after laying down Yrden so you have a buffer for her hits

You guys were right, the champion of champions is even better than Olaf.
I just did it and was dumbfounded too, thought I had hit a glitch but it isn't one, it's just non-obvious as there's no marker to spell it out.
You have to let the wraith win to lift its curse.

I thought it might be something like that but since it said talk to the people in the town and the objective marker didn't disappear from the two guards I thought I was screwed. Thanks.

I'm currently on "Final Preparations", and finished the side quest concerning King Radovid. Should I just finish up all my Witcher contracts and side-quests, or can I still push the story a little further without being forced to finish?

So I just helped the mages flee Novigrad. I haven't been to Skillage Isles yet, how much of the game do I have left?
Anyone else get some weird ass stuttering going on in Skelliege. Was neat a lighthouse and a harpy cave or something.
Game was literally moving like a stop motion film. Never had that happen before (in the Witcher 3). Seemed like it was only kind of on one island as it seemed to go back to normal after a bit.
Sometimes I feel like this game (and with a game like skyrim) is being held together by strings, lol. On consoles anyways.

You can try to use your crossbow to quickly kill the three apparitions. I recommend putting it on the backburner and come back when you're overleveled to be honest, JOTW was the most annoying bossfight in the entire game for me. I did manage to kill her before leaving White Orchard, but I only managed to do it because she glitched out in one of my attempts and didn't do the whole splitting in three thing.

I hope the next patch will fix Roach and some annoying animations. Because damn is this horse dumb.
I never lost a single race (despite having issues every now and then) until the very final one. In-fact I lost that race several times before I could beat it because Roach would stop every fucking 2 seconds for no reason whatsover. Worst game horse ever.
My main patch wish is for missable Gwent cards to be accessible/winnable in some way. I love Gwent but my desire to continue hunting for cards has been halted by finding out that I've missed a bunch due to mission exclusives. Fuck that.

Its says something when a last gen horse from a game like Red Dead shits all over a "new gen" horse..its kind of sad. Feels like they rushed or did not put that much love and attention in you're traveling partner, though all i have to do is look into its dead eyes and know...

What goddamn sense does it make that I meet a bunch of bandits ransacking the home of the person I'm looking for Geralt decides he's going to take them down in honourable fisticuffs? I can understand restricting the lethal stuff like Igni, but no potions, no Axii? Hell why couldn't I just Axii them in conversation and avoid the fight altogether since they were only good for info?

I hate that one druid. He is such a tease with that quest marker, but just won't put out...
I had double frustration since the whole reason I was up in that neck of the woods was to play Gwent with that master druid guy and he won't even talk about Gwent. Probably wants me to do his quest first. I'm like no, Gwent first, quest later.
Oh crap Thank you. I wonder how much longer I have left. I really don't want this game to end. Gonna continue doing as many side quests.

Horses are hard.
Besides, Agro is still the best horse.

Death March here as well. I ended up slowly backing up the stairs and then keeping them in the corner at the top. It gave me the best camera position for keeping them both in shot and also funneled them a little so they couldn't really flank me.

TBH, that's when I realized I had done too many quests and contracts where I would just drone between yellow markers, do some Witcher vision, kill some monsters and finish the quest. It highlights how straightforward the rest is.
The characters, the story and the world itself tend to make you forget this basic design but that was really apparent here.
I think I lost that one (on death march) and seeing how it wasn't a fail condition, I couldn't even be arsed to reload. Terrible fight.haha, that fight is fun on death march

Happened to me yesterday and no one replied. I was in Skellige by some mountains and the game was stuttering alot.
Just thought of another DLC I'd like to see - Wolf armor enhancements. Odd that your starting armor which - I think - is tied to Geralt's actual school gets no upgrades but other school armor sets do. I'd like to see Geralt's school set get some nice boosts and upgraded sets.

If I finish everything up before heading to Skellige will I be over levelled? Should I go now? Can I come and go as I please?
If you are at the recommended level then you're already overlevelled for Skellige. You can leave by using the fast travel points at any time, so if you feel like changing the scenery for a bit go ahead.

so... does no one know where this blizzard potion is? i found one site that said it wasat a refugee camp east of Lindenvale but i looked at everywhere around Lindenvale and no Blizzard potion

does anyone know how to get the Loves Cruel Snares quest to show up? Ive seen several people say the quest giver isnt showing up for them, same thing is happening for me

2 on one is insane until you discover the block button and how holding it blocks literally everything. You can even block in mid dodge, and dodge while holding block. It took me until a three on one to find out.
It just doesn't seem so logical when sword blocking is so precarious.
