I actually liked Rich Stantion's review, if people actually read it, he's overwhemingly positive about the game, but honest about it's failings. I love W101 based on what I've played but it can be a little overwheming at first for a LOT of average players and the gamepad use is a bit off at times. That's not always a case of "stop suckin at the game man"
I remember playing the early "Project Wonderful" demo at Eurogamer last year and so many people were picking it up to play, and while they enjoyed it, most people did not know what the heck they were doing or how to play properly. Not even the event stewards seemed to really understand it (quite a few seemed impressed when I played 3rd or 4th time and was amassing a larger crowd with unite and getting more points - getting up to the boss in the 15 minute time limit the demo offered). The newer demo fixes this with some actual explanations but it's still a lot to take in
While I find his concern for W101 curious in an age where we let kids play things like CoD ect. I can understand his desire as a father to bring it up if you are concious about that sort of thing. If it doesn't bother you, then still go for it. Personally I think it's easier to deal with penis jokes and some woman objectification (it's a japanese developer so this is almost par for the course anyway, shame as it is) over say...a game where your kid gets to watch someone have their throat slashed or die in some horrid manner.
