This is not Reddit. Yet and still, Ask Me Anything

I felt it was too repetitive, that it didn't have the same sense of humor or complexity that F3 did. It was fun, but there was just something too familiar about it in comparison to F3. Not as many layers, not as many cool off-campaign NPC encounters and side missions. I loved how melancholy and robust F3 was and how much you could do off-campaign in that game. New Vegas just didn't feel as... well, big.

Man, this is very nearly my opinion of Fallout 3 vs NV

Oh, you're a fan of Book of Mormon? We're still cool then

You're in a desert, walking along in the sand when all of a sudden you look down and see a tortoise. It's crawling toward you. You reach down and flip the tortoise over on its back. The tortoise lays on its back, its belly baking in the hot sun, beating its legs trying to turn itself over. But it can't. Not with out your help. But you're not helping. Why is that?

Sorry if this was asked before, but when did you first start playing video games? Earliest video game related memory? What was your first game?

That's a real song?!

Only time I ever heard it was in the video of this gif 10+ years ago

OMG, I looked up the video, I hadn't seen it before. So bad.Almost as bad as how it'd be if I tried to do something like that. LOL.

Hey guys. I am at e3 and from now until Friday morning I will answer any questions you have about the Ubisoft presser, Ubi games, the floor, French toast or your mom. I am super busy so I will get on here as much as I can and tell you what I've seen.

NOTICE: I am NOT a Ubisoft spokesperson and I DO NOT SPEAK FOR THEM. I am not a games journalist and I will not have seen everything. I am a gamer, but I also have fourteen jobs so I will not have played everything because I have shit to do. I am only really interested in shooters and combat-oriented RPGs so do not ask me about Mario Kart or other tiny, cute things with bunnies and jumping and stuff.

HOWEVER. By EOD Thursday I will have played a bunch of games, including games that aren't really playable yet. I will also have walked the floor, videobombed a lot of vloggers, given Greg Miller at IGN the double finger and taken a lot of photos with sweaty con-goers. Ask your questions and I'll try to answer.

Be aware that if you are a dick I will respond in kind.

And I am a dick for a living, so I will crush you.

Hi Aisha,

Do you have any strong feelings about the no women in Assassin's Creed Unity thing?

Also if you see Erik from the Nintendo Treehouse, could you please give him my number thanks.

Also thanks for yet again being by far the best E3 presser host.

I honestly have never played this game and had to ask the IGN team about it. I have no insider information about it at all. However, I will say, since the first game came out in 2003, and it is now 2014, that maybe it is time to take the box outside and bury it in the backyard under the marigolds next to Whiskers.

This is not the opinion of the Ubisoft corporation.

The first game is good if you like action adventure type games. It came out maybe around 2003 or so, so I'm not sure if it's held up. Give it whirl if you want to do some semi retro gaming, it's easy to pick up for small bursts.

Beyond Good and Evil 2 will make it's glorious debut. Ancel said it's happening and I believe him, he's got a believable face.

Edit: He's also Canadian, so we're like brothers. My brother would never lie to me.

How about this - Beyond Good and Evil 2 comes out this gen and I get a guest spot on WLIIA (provided that I pass a cansurviveimprov test), if it doesn't come out...well, how about you choose a prize and I'll see what I can do? Either that, or I dress up as Aisha Tyler for Halloween and post pics to your twitter?

But wait. I JUST got my balls. I'd like to keep them for a while. And what video game do you pay for in testicles? It had better make me a sandwich and give me a hand job and take my mother to dinner, at that price.

So, whatever game does that.

Mortal Kombat X, maybe?

OK, I am now officially hyped about MKX

Thanks for answering!

Daamn! Aisha with the ether.

I think I would weep openly through the entire voice session for R6 so no.
Tried Rift 1. Trying Rift 2 Thurs. Will report.
Minecraft looks like something I coded in my middle school COBOL class.

I can't wait for people to jump all over that. Whee!!!

Seems the weeping hostage role is made for you then.
But maybe it's better not to get involved in a game you love, because you break the spell if you know how things are done.

Go check Morpheus for us too. The Jimmy Fallon test of utterly crappy, so take a video clip of both device tests and upload to Youtube or something.

We did text-based Black Jack in PASCAL. Can't be that bad. 20 years later and I still suck at coding, just order people to do code stuff for me.

Phew, just got done reading through this thread. Thanks for hopping onto neogaf and mingling with us lesser beings. ;)
Much appreciated.

Did you happen to catch the celebrity Smash Bros match, and do you think you have the skills to crush all of their asses?

Aisha,

1. What is your favorite Caribbean island to vacation on?
Say St. Maarten for a cookie

2. Who is your favorite Video Game Villain of all time?

3. Why does god allow suffering?

4. How awesome is Neil deGrasse Tyson?

5. Jade Raymond, Yves Guillemot, Mathieu Ferland: Who do you choose to Marry, Fuck, Kill

No lie, I went to a friend's house last night and they just so happened to be watching Who's Line Is It Anyways. One of my buddies genuinely said Aisha made a better host than Drew Carrey.

I said that's funny, she's doing this AMA online right now and that I proposed to her. Aisha, I'm still waiting on a response. ;[

Are there any extremely hardcore gamers in comedy/film/etc.?

Ron Funches would probably count, though I've only heard him talk about games a bit. I like Kumail, but he's a bit too casual for my tastes, so I don't listen to the Indoor Kids. And whenever Chris Hardwick talks about video games, it's always the overrated (in my opinion) AAA games like Skyrim. I don't mean to disparage them (or you), but I would love to hear more from people in comedy with tastes similar to my own (which I know I haven't even defined).

I think I know way too much about you from all the podcasts you've been on. That's a better question! How weird is it to have random fans know so much about you when you know so little about them?

Geoff Keighly should reach out to you to co-host the VGA's. The last co-host, Joel McHale, was a huge mistake.

I feel like Joel and Aisha are just in a constant battle over hosting things nowadays
Joel takes over as Talk Soup host after Aisha leaves
Aisha takes over as Ubisoft Presser host after Joel leaves
?????
Aisha Tyler dropkicks Joel McHale

Why are you not using your colossal height to resolve the legacy steering wheel issue?

Lol oh jesus

I don't have a question, I just want to say that Ubisoft conferences are consistently the best ones and you are very significant part of that. Great job!

And I guess I should get into Archer.
