It depends on the game. I only use four fingers on the shoulder buttons if I'm playing a game like Warhawk, which requires that you use them simultaneously. Otherwise, I find that using the index fingers only a generally much more comfortable solution.vidal said:What's the optimal way of using the LB/LT/RB/RT and L1/L2/R1/R2 buttons? Do you keep the index fingers on the bumpers and such with the middle finger on the LT/RT or just use only the index fingers for all four buttons?

Is not that challenging if you're used to playing Japanese RPGs. Once you get the hang of the basics of the combat system you'll be fine playing on normal difficulty. If you only want to experience the story and breeze through everything else, go with easy.bkw said:Is this the sort of game you'd want to play for the challenge?

You probably have played 60Hz games, lots of sports games, some downloadable things like Super Stardust, retail games like Call of Duty, Ratchet and Clank, Ninja Gaiden etc.Tizoc said:I keep reading here about 60 FPS, and this got me to wondering: How would you get 60 FPS on ur HDTVs? ...but what would count as a game that runs at 60FPS? SSF4, MvC3, Castlevania, for example, are these 60 FPS?KevinCow said:To get a game to run at 60fps on an HDTV, you plug a console up to the HDTV and play a game that runs at 60fps.
If I read you well, that seems to be a kind of "dynamic contrast" (a system designed to give you darker blacks at the expense of consistency). Usually, it can be disabled, but it can depends (some Samsung require you to enter the service menu for this, which void the warranty).Bentendo said:Sometimes when playing games on my Vizio TV the screen goes dim when the scene is dark (same thing happens with movies) but not when I'm playing them on other television sets. Is something wrong with my TV or does it do it for a reason? Is there anyway I can get rid of this "feature"?

I got all my power ups and abilities, and I wanted to backtrack on getting missing items, and I got stuck in some area where there's green bird like creature that has the dash ability and jumps up. It hits its head on a bunch of blocks that disappears when you speed dash.
I'm stuck. I wall jumped all the way to the top and it's blocked by the speed boost blocks. I tried everything, even using the x ray.
I can't reload my game because I haven't saved in awhile and I'd lose my grappling hook and x ray powers. If there's no way to get out it, then I'm just gonna quit, lol.
When you're using the super dash, you can duck while running, which will keep your glow. Then you hold a direction and jump, and you'll launch yourself in that direction until you hit a solid wall. This lets you blow past aerial Speed blocks.Jason's Ultimatum said:I'm playing Super Metroid for the first time. Also, what are some good same-screen 2-player games on the 360 that aren't first/third-person shooters? Live Arcade games included. I'm interested in getting Dishwasher Vampire....does it have any real depth and replayability?

Now I kind of want a fighting game where you can stand on tip-toes...Eye Drop said:I'd say the movement of the body is mapped to the D-Pad. When moving left and right the mass of the character body moves in that direction. When pressing down they lower themselves. Thus when pressing up, instead of standing on tip-toes, they jump. I guess?
