Was there a company that promised dynamic crowds for a sports game last or two E3's ago? I can't remember what game but I feel like I remember someone saying the crowd would reflect your performance over a season.
I know very little about PC gaming; when I was young I couldn't really afford a gaming PC and I never got around to it despite wanting to. Half Minute Hero 2 is Steam only right now and I need help finding out if my extremely non-gaming PC can run it
the game's requirements are:
OS: XP SP2 32bit
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 3.0GHz or equivalent
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 2000 or equivalent
Hard Drive: 800 MB available space
My PC has:
Windows 7 Home Premium
Processor: AMD Athalon II X4 645 Processor 3.10 GHz
Memory: 6 GB (5.75 GB usable)
Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 4200 (I believe it is an integrated video card, meaning attached to the motherboard)
Hard Drive: I have like 100 GB open
The video card is what worries me the most with PC gaming. I was able to play Breath of Death VII and Cthulhu Saves the World on Steam just fine on this PC, but those are 16 bit style games and low demanding. Half Minute Hero 2 might be the same way but can someone look at my PC stats and tell me if I'm safe, iffy, or out of the question? It's the Video Card and the Processor I'm not sure about
Yes, at least mine did.
Is it dangerous to have more than one console plugged into a surge protector?
My Wii, WiiU and Xnox 360 are all plugged in due to a dearth of outlets.
I'm by no means a electrician so anyone correct me should I be wrong but I think surge protectors work with breakers that break during a overcurrent so it shouldn't matter how many devices are plugged in but I might be wrong :/
Posting here for fear of spoilers elsewhere-
How much choice or decisions from the previous episodes actually carry over onto The Walking Dead Season Two? Is it still a "promise" or have there been pay-offs already?
Ron Perlman: "War. War never changes."
Snake: "War has changed."
HAS IT OR HASN'T IT!?
I completed it on the X360 but I got the physical copy for PS3 so went with that for Season 2.season 2 is only 2 episodes in so impossible to say for the whole thing. Did you lose your save or something? I think you'll be fine but the 400 days DLC does tie in
Thread fits me perfectly, a man made of stupid needs a sanctuary such as this.
Anyway, stumbled with this video randomly, kept watching it because i dont understand what is exactly showing:

Read the description but i don't understand the point been made in regards to audio. Infact it confuses me even more:
A quick example of how the Wii U uses the gamepad to blend multiple audio sources. All audio is taken directly from the gamepad headphone jack and the system itself.
Anyone could explain?
storl, thanks for the consideration of explaining it so clearly. But what is the grace or advanatage of doing that in the case of the video i posted? If any at all.The "System Audio" in the video is playing through your TV (or surround sound) speakers.
The "GamePad Audio" is playing through the GamePad speaker.
The TV speaker plays part of the musical arrangement, and the GamePad plays the other part of the musical arrangement. (Think of your TV as playing the bass and drums, and the GamePad as playing the lead guitar; or think of your TV as playing the left stereo speaker, and the GamePad as playing the right stereo speaker). Separately they are incomplete, but together they play the full musical arrangement.

What about Minecraft in multiplayer mode?
So two questions about the WiiU...
1-It's using the same cables as the Wii for composite/component right? I'm pretty sure it is but I want to confirm
2-If I use HDMI for display, does it output audio through the composite port at the same time too? I mostly use a pc monitor for my consoles so I need a way other than the HDMI to output the audio.
Thanks!

The cables for the Wii and WiiU are the same.
If you give me a few seconds I can test out the other question for you too![]()
Confirmed, you can choose HDMI, Non-HDMI or Both as sound output.
My sister, who has a sudden interest in the games we used to spend alot of time as kids, is looking for the name of this one game.
It would've been much easier if I knew the name of the genre, so I'm going to try to elaborate the mechanics of it.
"You" are a helicopter who tries to "take over" a part of a platform that is filled with enemies, and your goal is to reach a certain percentage. The helicopter part is only specific for this game, so it would be perfetly adequate if I could just get the genre.
Is it a Qix clone?
I didn't know where else to throw this but found it curious.
Anyone else think that's an odd game to be at #1? (from Amazon.ca today)
Game is hard to find and becoming rare. People are buying it up whenever it comes back in stock.I didn't know where else to throw this but found it curious.

No, it shouldn't use your internet bandwidth for internal usage.
A year or two ago there was a news article where one of the big internet service providers incorrectly added internal transfers towards the monthly bandwidth cap. Hopefully the backlash forced them to quit doing that.
I always thought an Oregon trail MMO would be awesome. No body would want to play with perma-death though =/
I wanted to reinvent Oregon trail as a modern MMORPG with people crossing the country to flee the zombie apocalypse that has overtaken the world.
What is the term for a post like this, that passively predicts the future?

^ this happened as Organ Trail, but not in 2008. I wonder if anyone else on GAF has predicted a product without really trying to do so?
