This doesn't even happen in English.

Certainly it's common for people to seize on errors in grammar or spelling, try to imply that the perpetrator of the error is stupid, and that therefore whatever they're arguing is incorrect. But error->stupid->wrong isn't exactly faultless logic. It's more meant to sound good emotionally.

In short: the effect of this sort of error is small at best; an error doesn't necessarily affect the strength of your argument.
 
I assume this is because of flash but a lot of times when I try to bring my cam up within tinychat a large portion of the time it gives me a blue screen and then restarts. First of all according to yahoo answers there site gives you viruses. I have mse and spybot installed. So, what can I do to not make flash not crash and what can I do to not get the viruses on there site?

Edit: I typed this on my iPod when I was really sleepy.
 
So I deleted whatsapp from my dad's iPhone(4) because it had stopped working, but it seems like redownloading is going to charge another 79 cents. Or is it? Any way around it if it is going to charge?

Not sure if this was covered in the PSN thread, (I'm sure it was but...) couldn't find it: As a Canadian with only access to the Canadian PS Store. Is there free movie rentals available for us in the "Welcome Back" package? I got me my free games, but when I go to the Video section of the Store, nothing about free movie rentals...was this US only? Can someone shed a light on this, pretty please.
 
Ok, so my tv only has blue and yellow colors when watching tv (everything else seems to be shades of grey or white), but my ps3 and dvd player are both displaying colors correctly.

Is it the cable box? the cables? I haven't changed anything in months so I don't know. Just don't let it be the tv itself.

Must be the cable box or the component/composite cables that it connects with. If the TV had this problem, it would affect all inputs. Of course, check your tv's color balance settings on that input to be safe.

It sounds derivative of a NIN song, but I don't think it actually is. Probably from a band that would cheaper to license a song from.

YouTube comments suggest it's The day The World Went Away by NIN but it definitely is NOT.

I think the # symbols a tag and puts the tweet in a group so you can search #blah and find all tweets with #blah in them.
 
Making a gaming blog titled Mercenaries Journal. Does there need to be an apostrophe in "Mercenaries"?

In other words, is the correct title Mercenaries Journal or Mercenaries' Journal?
 
I wanna buy a camera (1500 USD) on Amazon, but my CC doesn't have limit for it. Is it possible to split into two cards?

Or if I buy a 1200 USD gift card with one credit card and a 300 USD gift card with another, will I be able to reedem the two cards into one account and then use the credit to buy the camera?

Why is my milk going sour? My fridge is fairly cold (can it be too cold?), yet sometimes even unopened packages go bad just a few days after the date. Last package I bought went bad with half a litre left in it, and it turned into cream/yoghurt on the very day it was supposed to go bad. It was totally fine to drink the day before. Iirc, all packages are different brands from different stores are different times so it's not the case of a bad shipment or anything. As a student, this is quite frustrating for my economy :( I'm afraid to buy milk now! Milkophobia!

Keep it in the back instead of the door, if you're not already. The temperature will fluctuate less that way. Barring that, clean your fridge out. You might have something funky floating around in there; a little slow-growing mold or bacteria living in the remains of a spill or something.
 
I was watching making of footage for various films today, and I have to wonder, how in the hell do they translate all the props in to making it look real in film? Getting rid of all the cameras and stuff that helps out (wires, suspended things in the air, camera tracks, etc)
 
why is my wlan always making problems? :(
in the course of the last 5 years, i've changed provider, router, modem and computer, but still the problems persist (or rather, old problems vanish and new ones arise)
right now i've got a wireless modem which also serves as a router (thomson TWG870) and shit is worse than ever
the problem seems to be on the computer, as ps3, 360 and iphone connect just fine most of the time (360 is via ethernet tho)
the future officially sucks balls :(
any ideas?

Thanks, that could be it indeed. Gonna get a new fridge installed in a couple of weeks though. Will have to take care of the new one better then ^^

I've heard excellent things about Rosetta Stone. This is what I, personally, would start with.

Or you could try and find a class that teaches language in a manner similar to how the US military teaches it. From what I hear, the military does a very good job at teaching a language to its recruits (though, the course might be to rigorous if you're just doing this for a fun/personal reason). Much better than a typical school.

Books might make good supplements to your learning, but don't just use books, since you won't be able to hear the language. Try to find TV shows in the language you want to learn and watch those shows multiple times each. You will be able to gain context from the image on the screen, which will help you better understand what is being said. News programs work well. Dubbed movies with English subtitles are good for a learner, as well.
 
Hey guys, Some dickheads spilled some Sambucca on my laptop the other day and the "Z, X and c" keys aren't working anymore. Originally it was just Z and X but a few days later the c key stopped working and the v and f went a bit crappy. I took the keys off and tried to clean it as best I could but nothing. Is there anything I can do? copy pasting letters is getting very tired.
 
How does one go about blocking a number from calling a cell phone? I've been getting bombarded with calls from (317) 322-3621 for the past few days. I googled the number and apparently a lot of other people get called from this number too. The general consensus is its a debt collection agency with an automated dialing process but apparently if you answer the phone nobody is there.

And for what its worth I definitely don't have any debts for them to collect from me or any reason they would be contacting me .. which leads me to another question. For those here that have gotten calls from debt collections, does it always seem they have the wrong number? I've been harrassed by at least 10 different debt collection agencies over the past 6 years or so and they're always looking for someone I've never heard of.
