Idiots who don't know how to use the internet. People kept asking for PMs and posting inappropriate .gifs. Seriously. All the thread needed was 1 bump about the update and # of pictures. But no. And now I have no idea when the next pictures will leak, given I don't keep up with these things.

Both goddamnit and goddammit are informal spellings. Though goddammit is more commonly accepted. Either way it doesn't really matter. I've always seen it as "God Damn It" contracted into a 1 word phrase substitute, not its own word.

Trying to find this dubstep song.

All I remember is that it is pretty dark, it is/was fairly mainstream (I found it on yahoo answers), and the youtube video of it was some dark/demented figure in a purely black background.
 
What is the legality of age gates on websites? Why do some just have 'click here if 18+', where some make you enter your full birth date?
 
Not necessarily a stupid question (I hope), but I'm writing an article on pathological gaming. I'm studying journalism and I'm looking for someone who thinks he/she is addicted and perhaps even someone who has gone through gaming rehab. Hopefully someone readsthis and is willing to send me a PM.

Yesterday I went for a two hour walk, the first lengthy walk of this type in years. When I got home, the entirety of the bottoms of my feet were blistered. I'm guessing this is just my feet toughening up but it's pretty painful. Is this typical and how soon will I recover?

Holy. OK.

It does happen, but you just need to be careful and let thouse blisters heal, and for your skin to toughen up on you feet. 2-4 days for the blister to go away depending on your water intake, diet, etc. If you feel the need to lance the blister, do not do it from the top, use a sterlized needle on the side and apply antibacterial ointment.

Wear proper socks with footwear too.

No, it's your shoes being terrible more than anything else. They're only 'toughening up' if this is the first time you've walked in a long time. Get yourself some comfortable walking footwear and socks, make sure they're tied on securely so there's minimum rub.

Your blisters will go after a few days, don't pop or pick them. Water works great on them, so baths and soaks will heal them quicker.

It would have to depend on how she's choosing to quit. If it's cold turkey, do something cute like gum. Otherwise, I would just go with a normal date gift.

I have the autolog on option ON, only on gaf, so every time i browse at home im logged in, but if i get to a thread trough google engine search (google.com, not the gaf one) im not logged in.


This happens to everyone?
 
Anyone familiar with newark airport? I've never been to it and next week I need to get to terminal A to C very quickly to catch a connecting flight, so I'd like to know before hand. Can't really find any decent info online, can't even tell if the airtrain within the airport is even free or not (I probably won't have any american currency on me, so a fee would be a problem).

One of the options you have when uploading videos is whether or not the video can be played on mobile devices. Youtibe mobile automatically filters out results than cannot be played on that device.
 
So I just moved into a new apartment and discovered that I can access my university's internet in the living room, but not in my bedroom which is about 20 feet away. The signal in the living room's really strong, but it cuts out completely when you move to the bedroom. Is there something I could do to make the signal travel all the way to my bedroom? Not being able to read GAF in bed is making me sad.
 
You could connect to the WLAN with a router in the living room and then connect to that router via ethernet cable. Just need a long one! And some magical settings, I suppose.

Someone posted a thread a while back (maybe last month-ish) of a video where these guys had set up a massive water slide down a hill, with some kind of body board thing attached to a bungie rope to ride down on (was powered by, like, a quad bike engine or something down at the other end... I forget).

Yo, Excel wizards!

How would I make a formula that'd go something like this:

IF: (Cell A1) = ACG0203 THEN (Interior Design), (Cell A1) = ACG0204 THEN (Industrial Design)

And so forth? I have massive lists of acronyms to go through, so I want to write a formula or system that'd translate the acronyms into something more intelligible. I already have one Excel sheet which translates them already, but the rest of the lists/sheets only use the acronym or shorthand version.

P.S. I'd do it manually, but the lists range from 800-1900 entries. Hell NAW
 
Post history is a search. Searchs strain servers (i.e. lead to 500 errors). However, I swear there was a way to sort results by date using google and by putting but having a poke now I can't do it. You can still get a jumbled up false positive post history by using "*member name* *tag?* site:neogaf.com".

google.com someitmes likes to find neogaf.net results for some reason. Just switch the.net to .com (going to neogaf.net yourrself redirects you to neogaf.com)
 
Important Question:

Is there a really easy way to convert MKV files with subtitles to avi or something that can be played with the zune?
I have some random anime episodes in that format and want to watch them on my phone.
i tried various programs, but none come out with the subtitles.

isnt there some one click method or something?
