I believe if you turn on subtitles within VLC and then start recording with its recorder it will capture it and export the new video as an mpeg.

I don't think theres a way to do it without actually capturing the video like this.

e: actually it looks like there is an option to add a subtitles tick under the save/convert option in the media drop down menu. Do some research and play around with it.

I should have clarified, it didn't cross my mind that it might confuse people!

I don't mean changing habits, I simply mean on paperwork and databases etc. I'm sure dozens of places have my signature, so if I were to simply change my sig now, it might cause a lot of problems?

I've never been charged fee for a tram or anything like one which transports people within an airport. As for the other part, there is not super secret way to get hrough an airport, you just follow the signs.

The tram there is free and pretty quick. There's no quicker way to go from A to C.
 


Does this happen to anyone else? The youtube vid is offcenter and there is a whitespace where the video does not cover. It happens kind of frequently, its pretty annoying. I'm using chrome, and it never really happens in IE.

Two music streaming questions:
1. When will Pandora Free completely use HTML5? A few free users had it earlier this month and I'm still stuck with Flash after clearing my cookies.
2. MOG announced a free version several days ago so I signed up. Every time I tried to play music it wants me to start a free trial for the pay versions. Nothing outside their blog suggests there's a free version yet. Why do these services make announcements way ahead of actually enacting them?

I don't really understand, did the boys parents have a seizure in church and that was embarrassing for him? Why would that be worse than the stuff the other two kids had?

I think I already asked this a while ago, but I'm finally ready to upgrade my OS. I have a 100GB partition which previously held XP, while the remaining 500GB in the other partition is for everything else. I just realized I don't actually have to do the W7 upgrade disc trick since if I run the installation disc while XP is still there, it'll see it and just give me the opportunity to format.

-It can just format the 100GB partition right?
-It won't inadvertently touch the stuff on the other partition?

I'm actually backing up everything from the other partition out of an abundance of paranoid caution anyway. All of my game installs are located on the 500GB partition, while the non-game programs are on the OS partition. I was thinking if I had to, I can just delete the games directory afterward, since obviously the installs would be useless with a new OS in place.

-Is there any reason to format the large partition after the W7 install is complete? I was worried there might be some various things just hidden around the drive from various game installs, but anything like registry entries and whatnot should all be on the OS partition right?
 
Medical question! Why is that after I take a shower I smell like poo? Like literal poo. I'm using soap and shampoo and all that good stuff, but I still smell. Its not like I can even smell it, its only other people. And as far as I can tell its only after I shower. My bumhole also feels squishy after words/like I pooed my self, but obviously I did not. What is wrong with me gaf?!

Not per say, most of the time its like, "woah, bro did you fart?!" and I'm all "lol no :(" and I come to notice it really only happens after I shower. And it doesn't happen everytime after I shower but it happens often enough.

I have about 300 CDs stuffed into binders and the inserts in a shoebox since I used to move around a lot. Now, I'd like to get them all back into jewel cases. What is a good place to buy clear jewel cases that aren't crap/brittle/janky and will arrive at my door will all of them in good condition? I have checked a couple of sites, but I don't know who would be good for this sort of thing. Yes, I'm terribly anal about my music/CD collection :/

it's probably your breath, dude. and if you say you brush your teeth so that cant be it, well if you have some disease you can still have shit-smelling breath even if you brush your teeth

Yeah, the majority of bad-breath is actually caused by stomach/reflux problems and not hygiene. There's nothing worse than when someone opens their mouth and it literally smells like poo, though.

I'm going to be doing the Windows 7 install in the next couple hours, did anyone know whether I'll run into any problems regarding partitions? I think I'm just going to leave my second partition alone, assuming the installer doesn't screw it up, and then just delete all the game installs. I'm just hoping there aren't any hidden files or something in the partition that will mess things up, as I'm assuming that the format of the OS partition should completely eliminate any traces of the old registry. I think I already know the answers to these questions, it's just that every time I've had to install an OS before, I was essentially starting with a completely new system or had much less data to worry about.

Also, a couple years after its release: Since I'm too damn cheap to pay for AV protection and found that Norton was a bloated hog back when I used it, is MSE+Malwarebytes+AdAware still a pretty reliable free solution?
 
So I finished installing Win7, keeping my second partition intact for the moment. I just realized that Steam itself had been installed in that partition, but there should be no issues with just deleting it and every associated game the heck out of there and then reinstalling it and using my Steam backups right? I'll be using the ninite.com installer after I run a full scan through MSE. Are there any minor tips for economizing performance under Win7? I already reset the desktop theme to Windows Classic because I don't much care for Aero, and figure it might be eating some resources needlessly. Turned on Cleartype but don't know if I really should have. Took a little while to even just turn the quick launch bar back on too.

For word 2011:

-go to "view" on the ribbon
-in the "show" category, click on the box that says "ruler"
-at the top of the screen it shows your indents (little grey triangles facing each other on the ruler), move the bottom indent (the hanging indent) to the place where you want the second column of text to start
-now when you hit tab, it'll automatically go to where you placed this indent

There you go, pimpdaddy. Now go make a million dollars on a start-up company.

Wow, I thought this thread was safe to read while eating breakfast.

Are you in college or otherwise a young person with roommates? Could be they are messing with you, either just saying that or possibly putting shit in your shampoo or something. I knew guys in college who did all kinds of sick things to their roommates stuff, and usually over minor things.

Abload images aren't loading for me, at all. I have to copy-paste the url, go to a proxy, and then put the image url in the proxy to be able to view it.

WHY IS THIS?
