I'm having difficulty understanding how this isn't working for you. I guess if it's way too cheesy/buttery, you could cut down on the cheese or butter. But if you've already identified that as a problem, I kind of assume you've already tried that.

What kind of bread are we talking about? Maybe start with plain white bread if you haven't already. That toasts a lot easier than the stuff with all the grains in it.

Usually they wait to see if the servers will hold up. If the servers start sputtering, things get shut down. Sometimes it's been for all three days of the show, sometimes just for the big press conferences.
 
Not so much a question, as a plea for help as my googlefu is woeful today. I was having a conversation with a coworker about this topic, and the history of DKC, which reminded me of...

... a comic strip, that at the beginning of today I was sure originated from Penny Arcade, and was about Microsoft buying Rare, ending in a panel that said something like "What about for this huge sack of money?" after a panel where Nintendo said they would never sell Rare.

However, I have a suspicion that the comic may not be PA, and may even be about Microsoft buying Bungie, and not Rare, but I'm not 100% sure, as you can tell!

Can anyone throw me a bone here?

I believe it actually says

"kane is in the building"

Which is on most songs that Kane Beatz produces.

That song being one of them.....can also been heard on "right above it" "bedrock" as well as a lot more.

Reduce the amount of cheese and try cooking at a lower temp.
Is your bread getting broken up when you are applying butter directly on the bread? Try heating butter first in the pan then put the bread in the pan on low to medium-low heat. You can also help melt the cheese if you use a lid to cover it. That way you'll steam the cheese faster and not burning the bread either.
 
My dumbass girlfriend left the iron on at my house a few hours ago as we left for work. I work in Queens, so it will cost me double toll to go home and turn the thing off. Will it burn my house down if I wait until the end of the day, or will it be fine if I leave it alone until I can get there around 5:30?

I fucking can't believe I am even asking this.

I think you gotta go back and turn that thing off. Something inside could fail/melt after so many hours. Make your GF work off the tolls, you know, somehow.

I would wait personally. Worst case scenario is it being close to something flammable. Otherwise it'll sit there and probably burn out the element eventually.

I always get the auto-off iron because I wuld be just like you gf and leave it on everyday.

I butter the skillet.

I have never buttered the bread. Mmm, think I'll make this for dinner tonight, but need to buy some good cheese.

I always fully construct the sandwich and have it on the skillet before I turn the heat on.
 
Maybe not a stupid question but back in the day I remember hearing of an episode of King of the Hill where Boomhauer sounds normal and everyone else sounds like Boomhauer. Does anyone know what episode that was called? I ahven't watched it and I'm not even sure it exists. I've tried searching for it but no luck.

I know what you're talking about, but I don't believe it was a whole episode. Maybe a dream sequence or an episode with Boomhauer's family. Sorry I can't be more help, but it definitely exists.

I live in an apartment and want a window AC unit. Thing is, the windows slide left to right. Some of the other units in the apartment have smaller window AC units, but do you guys think you'd be able to use a normal one and just turn it sideways in the window?

You are able to rent one through the rental company, but I'd rather just buy one as it's like $100 to rent and I'll only be here through July.
 
How easy is it for someone on Twitter to see an @ mention for them if you don't follow them/they aren't following you? Is there a notification or does it show in your main feed or anything? Not for a celebrity if it makes a difference.

There is a own page for tweets with your name in it. I miss some though as my ipod twitter tells me qhen there us a new one, but the website client dosen't

There's a few different Twitter apps isn't there? Would you say the notification for mentions is a common feature for them? Which one do you use if you don't mind me asking? Thanks
 
Can anybody recommend a good twitter widget for Windows? I've tried a few clients, but they're a bit too bloated for my needs. I just need something to live in the corner of my desktop, with the ability for constant updates.
