I expected nothing and still left disappointed. Only Kubo has the power to fool me not once, not twice, but a hundred fucking times. Oh well, at least it takes like 2 minutes to read.

I honestly can't believe Bleach is ending like this. I don't even know what the whole point of this story was. What the hell was YMWACH (whatever the hell his name was) anyway?

Rukia's promotion doesn't feel at all deserved. Did she suddenly get a hell of a lot stronger? Why did my waifu Soifon barely have her face shown? Fuck you Kubo. The reiatsu at the end is probably just Ichigo and his friends, including his school friends who finally used their tickets and maybe Yuzu and Karin as well because I just don't feel like any part of this ending will take place in the human world at all. Oh and the other Visoreds too. Fuck it everyone is at SS. Also I'm convinced Komamura died of old dog age.

Rukia deserved that promotion more than half of the captains there, like Isane and Iba, Rose and the other guy who should be zombies, Byakuya who should be dead, and Lisa

Yeah this chapter sucked.

There IS a random bit of black energy or whatever shown as Mayuri is checking on things. Maybe they just straight up built over Yhwach's corpse?

Mayuri should just clone himself 13 times and take over that sorry excuse of an organization.

Whoever called that time skip, pat yourself on the back. Also, fuck you, Kubo Tite. What a waste of a chapter. Motherfuckers talking about Bankais like they still actually mean something.

I think it's an attack he made in the future. He did say he would get them at their moment of most happiness...of course that would mean he foresaw his own death and did nothing. His power was bullshit and didn't make sense anyway

"Shocking conclusion" next week. And no Aizen bankai so far.

This "perfect end" 10-yrs into the future peaceful time is an illusion bubble and the real world is destroyed, calling it now.

Next chapter is that Yhwach is alive and before he died, he changed the future where he was good and acted like an actual father to Ichigo. Now they're having a picnic with all the Quincies

Ichibei is going to return along with Aizen

Aizen reveals all this peace is fake with his bankai while Ichibei erases half of the manga's name turning it into Ble. Bleach is only half way done.

I hope the announcement is not a sequel of the manga. Normally I would love that, but this thing was rushed, what's the point of another possibly rushed series with no sense of direction? I don't need more Bleach

didn't Ywach say he would let Ichigo's friends reach their happiest moment then that's when he would take it all away if they followed? next week's, big announcement ends up being bleach is not ending.

Isane, the former 4th Division VC, though she's not blonde.

Ah, Isane always looked pretty androgynous. Not just because of the haircut but her jaw, stature etc. That looks like a completely different person. Whatever I guess.

I just want to see Lisa in the final chapter. I deserve it.

It would be kind of novel if he did take what seemed a nice ending then completely wrecked everything at the end. More likely I guess there'd be some sort of final fight, or this is something Yhwach's trying to destroy from the past but dies before he can pull off making this a wet fart of an attack.

I have a strange relationship with Bleach. I started with the anime habe to say the rukia rescue arc is GOAT. But at one point the whole thing became totally pointless. still I am very invested in the characters, seeing Rukia as a captain is awesome.

I am a little bit afraid about the next chapter, I can smell some weird kubo stuff.

Oh yeah they should bring the anime back.

I am Korean.
What an insane disconnect from the last page of 684 and the first page of 685. If I didn't know they were one after another, I thought I'd have missed at a bunch of chapters in between.
We kinda did.

EDIT: I expected less than nothing and I'm still disappointed somehow.
Yeah reminds me of Namco's Soulcalibur 20th anniversary panel at Comicon that featured the logo on a stand and "If you want SCVI, spam requests to our Facebook page!"

That Megaman Legends feel.

At the end of the day, I wish I hadn't maintained curiosity about how this series would end. Why did I keep reading

It hasn't been good for years.

I played myself.

Sigh... So rushed.

So what, Aizen, after being freed from his chair, with the goal of the Soul King literally right in front of him, nothing happens? He fought a whole war, planned years of secret plans. And then just says "eh, I'm good".

He'd better show up for the final chapter or something.
Ah hell I know they won't finish this in a satisfying way,

I think Rukia's the only one that had a (somewhat) satisfying conclusion due to all the stuff she's been through, unlike the rest of the main characters.

Ichigo got negative character development and Inoue/Chad stayed the same.

Still expecting to see his comatose body propped up as the new Soul King in the end.

I mean, someone has to fill that role, right? Considering that the entire world is supposed to crumble if it's vacant...

Yeah, Rukia is one of very few (only?) characters who seemed to have a passable arc from beginning to end of the series.

Gin should have gotten Rangiku pregnant so we could have a little Gin running around now.

I don't think that's how it works in Soul Society.

Although, that's always been kinda vague.

What the heck? I was mostly ignoring this thread becasue I figured "ending soon" meant like six months to a year or something. What the heck is this super rushed nonsense?

That jump looked straight out of a Gundam anime, the only thing right now that I can remember which made me go "did I miss a couple episodes?" when going from one to another.

Or he got killed??? I mean. Weird complaint.

Speaking of which, why did Aizen even need to get himself stabbed? Given Kyoka Suigetsu affects all senses, he could easily have made Yhwach think he was stabbing Ichigo when he was actually just stabbing nothing at all. He shouldn't need anyone to be stabbed for Yhwach to think he was stabbing someone

It is pretty incredible at how drawn out some of the earlier battles were in this arc and then the final one is just a few chapters, it read like Kubo didn't know how to end it and just kinda say aw fuck it

We don't know what happened to him post-Yhwach bath anyway. He could've gotten killed, he could've gotten his wishes and Soul Society went "eh, if it holds reality together and keeps him placated who cares anymore", or he was even rounded back up while comatose and bound in the dungeon again.

And the more I think about it I kinda like how this seems to be setting up everything to be peachy keen only to wreck everything at the last second. Next week will make or break what reputation it has left I suppose, these kinds of endings are always fascinating to me.

Y'know what they should do for the shocking conclusion

That all of this was an illusion by Aizen. That is, when he originally put them all under his spell way back when in the Soul Society, that everything afterwards was an illusion.

Yeeees.

Only two possible endings can redeem Bleach now:

1. "Since when you were under the impression that 10 years passed". Aizen's bankai is revealed and he trapped everyone in this illusion. The end.

2. Shuuhei's bankai is real and strong enough to defeat Yhwach who is returning to kill them in this moment of happiness.

Well, how did Ganju and all them have siblings or there be noble houses if it was just random dead folk? Spirit sex has to be a thing.

Lol it got even better when you find out the reason the Kuchiki's adopted Rukia is because she was Byakuya's wife's sister in the living world. So she's kinda his sister in law? Maybe?

Yeah, how DO noble families work in a spirit world?
Do they have kids with dead human spirits?
Do those kids have more powers than simple human spirits that passed on?

He does not think through the cosmology very well.

The whole concept of "families" in Soul Society has been weird from the outset for this reason. When people die in the real world, they apparently enter Soul Society as they had lived. You can go back as far as Yuichi Shibata (the boy who was being pursued by the Shrieker hollow) for an example.

I believe it was implied early on that pretty much all families in Soul Society are adoptive in nature... which is weird when you consider that many family members nonetheless share common physical traits.

I'm pretty sure aging is just slowed in soul society, not stopped, given we've seen little kid Byakuya in turn back the pendulum
